Fat and insulin

Delta9:
There is a theory that fat cells won't grow in the absence of insulin, which is of course our body's natural response to sugars.
So theoretically you could eat a high fat, very low carb diet and have difficulty storing any of those extra fat calories.

Was wondering if any of our heavy cream drinkers have tried something like this or could confirm anecdotally. Would be an interesting experiment to only consume fats for several days.

Munchies:
Don't do that. A fat only diet will have a laxative effect. Also a high fat, low carb diet is just keto.

Delta9:
I'm sure someone has already done it. I just want to know what happened.

Munchies:
Hun, I said what I said. Don't encourage people to kill themselves.

Delta9:
Munchies, you must be the biggest person on here just by your ego alone. How anyone can constantly try to play the morality hall monitor on a site and community that literally praises people for being unhealthy is beyond me.
Asking people about their experiences for educational purposes is hardly encouraging them to kill themselves.
If you don't have anything to contribute to a thread, then why respond? Discourse and disagreement is fine. But you constantly try to shame people out of participating in conversations and topics. Be as offended as you want, just do it without trying to bully everyone else in the forums.

Lmao! Man, I ain't even being mean to you.

There's asking people about their experiences (perfectly fine) and then there is encouraging people to put themselves in harms way for an experiment.

Besides, I answered your question in my first post. The answer to your question is very well studied and documented. If handled carefully, a high fat, low carb diet is keto. If handled poorly, you shit your pants for days.

And if you are a diabetic, you go to the hospital.

Fat and insulin

FAMGM:
Yes, I basically was doing that when I was attempting to gain and didn’t realise I was diabetic.

I was taking in 10,000 cal per day and losing weight.

It was really, *really* awful.

Munchies:
Ironically, a symptom of out of control diabetes is weight loss

FAMGM:
Precisely. I diagnosed it myself when it suddenly occurred to me, “perhaps this is diabetes”, and borrowed a friend’s blood glucose monitor. The reading was too high for the device to measure.

It’s all under control now.

Oh wow! I am so happy you figured it out and have it under control.

My girlfriend keeps getting fatter

Modulo9:
My wife used to fluctuate with her weight. She's fatten up and then diet, fattened up again and diet. I always looked forward to her gaining weight again and knew it was inevitable as she liked food.

She's been on a gain train for the past four years and I love it!

JohnT:
The secret is to make her feel comfortable with the gain, underplay the gain if possible. For example as i was watching my girlfriend getting to the truly fat territory i tried to make adjustments so that she doesn’t mourn her loss of fitness and liberty. I started looking for places with accommodating seating without her realizing, or i would drop her off just outside the door so she avoids walking and when she truly started having mobility issues at over 500 pounds, I reassured her that using a wheelchair is absolutely fine. This was the most difficult task actually

Munchies:
That's manipulative.

JohnT:
She is aware i love her massiveness and she realized that she loves herself this size. There are obviously a few things one must sacrifice if one gets close to 600 pounds but she gains so much pleasure from giving in to her passion for overindulging.

Not beating the manipulation allegations.

Busty guys

Karenjenk:
I live in NM close to the US/MEX border.
Their regulations make more sense than ours. Most medications are easily gotten OTC.

ILuvChubbyChix:
Customs doesn't give problems and thus confiscate it all?

It's a solid "it depends".

That said, for the love of all things good and holy, do not mess with you hormones to gain. You can very easily end up with side effects you didn't sign up for.

Back pain from gaining too fast

Kyle:
True to nature. It’s an unhealthy kink no matter how u look at it. If one is willing to keep gaining and sharing the amusement park ride the whole through on their journey. I love being the fly on the wall and enjoying the show 😁🪰

It's not necessarily an unhealthy kink. It really depends on how you go about it. For example, I used to be a gainer. Started out as 115 and stopped at 168. While this makes me overweight for my height, I am healthier than I have ever been.

I don't get sick as much, I'm stronger, I am no longer diabetic, the list goes on.

In OP's case, it seems he doesn't enjoy the discomfort of getting too fat too fast. On top of that, he goes to the gym to maintain fitness. As such, I doubt he'd be interested in being unhealthy and in pain.

But I am sure you can find someone else who is.

Back pain from gaining too fast

Kyle:
So sorry about the pain you’re going through, but thank you if you are able to keep pushing and gaining and hope you don’t mind love to hear more about the aches and pain and the good and bad with all the weight piling on so rapidly😇😊☺️☺️☺️🥹🥹🥹🥹😘🥰😍

Some people might be willing to push through. However, most aren't. Finances and discomfort are among the most common reasons why people stop gaining or even lose weight.

A happy, healthy feedee is more open to gaining than one that isn't.

And I am speaking as a sadistic extreme feeder.
