Petite woman sleeping w/ chubby man - advice

Cicciolina:
Hi there all! Apologies if this isnt the right forum but I thought someone in the community might be able to share a little advice smiley

I have been sleeping with a colleague, who is a little older and deliciously chubby. We started out as friends (though I was attracted to him from the get-go). I have been chasing him for ages - inviting him over and cooking for him, asking him out for drinks after work, sending him nudes etc. He always shows me interest/flirts with me in person and sometimes suggests dates, but they never happen and he will never message me outside of work. I know he finds me (to quote) "super hot" and generally men have always seemed to be attracted to me. I also feel like I have always had a good read of men that I am intimate with. Given that we started out as friends, I know he likes me as a person. This may be arrogant/me overthinking it, but I am wondering whether he has doubts about my intentions and my feelings for him bc maybe he is less sure about his appearance. I say this because he has made disdainful comments about his weight, though I was quick to tell him that I loved his body. He has also said that he felt like at the beginning I was giving him mixed signals, partly because I am super independent and not one to jump into a relationship easily. I have given him space lately and just kept it friendshipy in the office. Today he said he wanted to "do me" next week, but thats it. Should I give up on the idea that he is just being cautious and needs reassurance? Should I just accept that this man is just not into me?

As a general rule of thumb, getting into a relationship with coworkers is a bad idea. I've worked in HR before, so I have seen some things.

You guys are already sleeping together. You might want more, but does he? This sounds like it's going to be super messy. Do you really want to go forward with this? If so, you two need to have an adult conversation about your expectations in the relationship and see if this will work.

Skin feeling tight day 6 heavy cream

Just wanted to add that what you eat in addition to consuming large amounts of heavy cream is important. Believe it or not, some people consume heavy cream to lose weight. And it works for some of them.

Greentrees8733:
TL;DR: could you further explain your point about blood triglycerides?

Sorry for the confusion! I wasn’t trying to discuss ectopic liver fat per se, just that another user made a similar point about it that I was trying to make about blood triglycerides—namely, that it can’t account for weight gain *after* the cessation of HC because it would already have been counted.

I’m confused because, by my reading of your comment about blood triglycerides, you were speculating that they were responsible for delayed weight gain after stopping HC; that doesn’t *seem* like a point you’d make, so I assume I must be misunderstanding it.

Sure!

I didn't got all that far into it because it's a complex topic and I didn't feel like typing all that out. But I can give you the quick and dirty.

You are right that the triglycerides alone do not cause the delayed weight gain. Rather, they are just the starting point. As your body breaks down the triglycerides, you get something called glycerol. It's an alcohol that is also used as a sweetener.

Glycerol is a normal part of the fat metabolic process, but if the levels get too high, it can cause pancreas inflammation and insulinemia (elevated levels of insulin).

One aspect of weight gain is triggering an insulin response. So as the triglycerides break down and release more glycerol, the pancreas will create more insulin. This elevated insulin encourages the body to take the food you eat and convert more of it to fat.

Keep in mind that a lot of gainers don't have the best diets already, so this adds to it.

Please understand that elevated insulin levels do not mean someone has high blood sugar. This doesn't necessarily mean heavy cream is bad for diabetics. The effects of diary on diabetics is not well understood, and there is a lot of conflicting evidence. You can talk to 10 different doctors on the matter and get 10 different answers.

When you eat something fatty, it spikes your triglyceride levels which is the amount of fat present in your blood. This is later turned into fat. If you drink a lot of heavy cream, it drastically spikes your triglyceride levels. Your body cannot immediately process this, so it leads to delayed weight gain.

Greentrees8733:
I think I might be misunderstanding your point… even if blood triglycerides are higher and not stored in fat cells, they still contribute to the number shown on the scale, just like Doublefrosted’s point about ectopic liver fat.

Ectopic liver fat is a thing, but increasing this is more related to liver disease than it is delayed weight gain.

The average heavy cream gainer doesn't have liver issues.

Heavy cream experiences, the ultimate gaining tool?

Creamdemon:
For me it is absolutely the perfect gaining tool.
I started using it already a few years ago, when I was still underweight and desperately needed to gain some pounds - back then I only managed to chug 200ml at max and always struggled with the digestion.
This changed drastically over the years.

Consuming HC became a habit and chugging a cup or have it with some cereals or cookies in the morning is part of my daily breakfast routine now. I still keep track of getting my vitamines and nutritions in food, just maybe some bigger portions.. ..and everything else on top.
It works quite well! These days I manage a quart a day without any issues.

Tbh, being in the middle of my most effective gaining attempts ever, I am kinda shocked what HC can do to you in such a short time.

There seems to be quite a heated discussion about the fat-distribution gained from HC. I don't wanna go in detail about that (this can go very deep if you want it to be - but I'm no expert either, so let just leave it that way), but just from my personal experience, I definetely gained A LOT of subcutaneous and it shows in all the areas it's supposed to.

It's not so much a heated discussion as it is that people gain differently.

Heavy cream is full of saturated fat. Saturated fat is more prone to forming subcutaneous fat than visceral fat if there are no other factors to consider such as your diet, genetics, and hormone levels among other things. Two people can drink the same amount of heavy cream and have completely different results.

Gainer shake

All of this aside, we are straying far away from the initial topic. This thread is not about me. This thread is about gainer shakes. I am many things, but I am not a gainer shake. I'd feel really bad for OP if we hijacked the topic further.

no point discussing stuff with a profile without actual photo, which lives on this website

Morbidly A Beast:
Bruhs a goober imagine complaining about someone using a website that you’re currently on.

HungryPiggyBoy:
No my guy, just the person in question always tells everyone how to live and is the person who always critise everyone. Considering profile hasn't even got an actual picture, which usually is already a red flag

Morbidly A Beast:
Munchies is working from experience fattening multiple feedees from what I’ve seen she’s just given solid advice on what works and dispelling silly ideas like eating a raw stick of butter

Heh. Raw butter sticks.

Why does that keep popping up?

Finally overweight!

Growinggut89:
My bmi is 28.5 now I’m finally overweight and going ever closer to obesity how should I celebrate??

Congrats! You should celebrate by stuffing yourself into a food coma. Maybe check out an all-you-can-eat buffet. Stuff yourself until you feel fit to burst, take home left overs, and then stuff yourself until you pass out.

Curveman:
I disagree that the lymphatic system has nothing to do with fat digestion.
training.seer.cancer.gov/anatomy/lymphatic/
In paragraph 2:
"The second function of the lymphatic system is the absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins from the digestive system and the subsequent transport of these substances to the venous circulation."

After re-reading my comment, I realize that there were a lot of things that I didn't include because I made some assumptions about what you were talking about.. I apologize.

What I meant is that in an otherwise healthy person, this doesn't play any impact. If the person has poor lymph drainage or lymphedema, then yes. That plays a part of it. But a lot of the people who experience the delayed weight gain do not have these issues.

Instead, of the lymphatic system, you need to turn your attention to the cardiovascular system.

The link above elaborates more, but I will give you the tl;dr.

For a guy who sees my posts a lot, you don't do very well with paying attention. But I did notice your locations switch a lot from the UK, Poland, and the Czech Republic. So maybe there are some aspects of the English language you struggle with. No shame in that.

I do criticize, but I also encourage a lot too. And when I get it wrong, I own up to it.

It's also very odd that you think someone without a photo shouldn't say things. Having a photo doesn't mean anything. Sure, you have pictures of your belly, but how do we know it's really you? We don't. We have to take your word for it. You're not even a verified user.

I think my words stand on their own. Anyone could easily google what I say, and I normally provide links to back it up. Curiously, you never respond back when I provide proof of what I say.

As to why I don't have a picture of myself, the reason is simple. I'm a stalking victim. I've talked about this before on the site, but when I was a child, I was stalked by my bio-dad and step-dad. It was a stupid revenge plot to get back at my mother for rejecting them. It left me with severe PTSD. I do show myself to people, but only after they've gained my trust.

And to be frank, HungryPiggyBoy, you've shown yourself as untrustworthy as possible. So you'll never get to see my face.
