Parameter-based automated blocking?

Jiggle Junkie:
Inspired by some recent abuse reports (Thanks to FF community members who submit those!), i’m wondering about options for programming into the system the ability for a member to set up auto-blocks of other members based upon certain parameters.

One might be empty profiles. New members have those, but so do many scammers. Some members may want to block empty profiles automatically and preemptively.

Or maybe a member has no interest in chatting offline (or on FF maybe too), so might want to block any profiles with Kik or Snapchat. Legitimate members use those, but so do a majority of the serious scammers.

Just a few random ideas. I’ve not thought this through deeply yet, so please post other ideas and unintended consequences of my suggestions.

Honestly, it would just be easier not to limit blocking to 15 people for non-paying users. But the site owner has said he doesn't like the idea of users blocking huge swaths of people.

I'm sure there's a valid reason behind this thinking. After all, I'm sure nothing bad would happen with making it harder to avoid interacting with a user that you don't want to interact with. And I'm sure that he or someone on the admin staff would gladly clarify this line of thought.

Red spots on upper abdomen

Morbidly A Beast:
I’ve been putting off seeing the dermatologist, regular doc said too. I have really bad yeast stain things under my rolls and folds and pretty much anywhere my skin touches :/ I recommend it if you have the insurance for sure!

I'm a diabetic. When I was younger, I had trouble keeping my blood sugar in check. I'd get frequent yeast infections, and it was hell.

I'm sure I'm not saying anything you haven't already been told before, but please get yourself checked. Don't worry if your doctor tells you you need to lose weight. There is more to your health than the numbers on the scale. Don't ignore this.

And then you turn the energy inwards and feed yourself. And then you can’t stop because it feels so damn good.

Red spots on upper abdomen

Morbidly A Beast:
/pimples and ingrown hairs…

But I’m not a doctor or anything wouldn’t hurt to get looked at. Skin cancer isn’t something to play around with

I concur. My best friend went to her dermatologist about a mole that she didn't like the look of, and it turned out to be skin cancer. Thankfully, they caught it early, so it wasn't a big deal. I'm not saying you do have skin cancer, but it couldn't hurt to check.

Red spots on upper abdomen

I believe they are called echymoses, but I am interested in more than a mere diagnosis. (They admittedly and of course have much to do with my on again, off again practice of gorging myself to ridiculous measure!)

That's not ecchymosis. Ecchymosis is blood under the skin - usually from a hematoma (bruise). It's flat and spread out instead of being small raised red bumps.

It looks like you have cherry angiomas:

Big bellies a sign of power?

Strongerthanyou:
It's definitely a sign of submission in my eyes... Don't see how a round soft tire of around your waist can be perceived as powerful

Munchies:
It really depends. For some, being big means being powerful. They get to literally throw their weight around. Have you ever heard of squashing? It's a kink where someone bigger than you crushes you under their weight. You see it more on Dimensions than on FF.

Then you have dominant feedees with submissive feeders. The feeders wait on the feedee hand and foot while the feedee indulges as much as they want.

Hurgon:
Definitely.

It was often a sign of wealth too - access to more and better food, no need to do the physical labour, etc. I don't know whether this is still the case in some cultures and parts of the world. A lot of portraits from the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries draw attention to the swell and straining buttons around the subject's paunch.

Tentacles:
I do wonder if some women see their hubbies having big paunch as complimentary to their cooking.

Munchies:
As a woman living in the American South, I can vouch for that being a thing.

FordB:
As a man living in the American South I can vouch that there are a lot of people that treat it that way. And the amount of women I had overheard talking about their husband getting fatter after marriage and thinking it is cute is even more hilarious.

Tentacles:
How often are these women fat themselves? Considering its the south of the USA I guess most.

Munchies:
Something to keep in mind is that Southern men will keep their wives fed too. I know husbands that will regularly cook for their wives or buy them meals/treats. It's cute.

Tentacles:
See with the Bodi example there seem to be no images of fat Bodi women all seem to look very slim.

Munchies:
Yes, because the Bodi men equate fatness with power. They expect their women to be subservient to their men, so they need to remain slim.

It's not great.

Tentacles:
Isn't some of it seem to be to impress the women though? It is said to be whats considered to be attractive.

The issue isn't so much the men are fat and the women are not. The problem is about the power imbalances that comes with the societal expectations.

It's patriarchy pure and simple.

Big bellies a sign of power?

Wolffeeder:
In Mauritania

www.marieclaire.com/politics/news/a3513/forcefeeding-in-mauritania/

I am not a fan of this situation. Unlike the Bodi tribe situation, the situation in Mauritania is just abusive.

When the Bodi men get fat, it's as a way to get power. However, the Mauritanian women are forced to get fat. They subject their girls to inhumane torture to gain weight because of misogynistic reasons. There is a reason why the government outlawed the practice.

Their bellies are not a sign of power but rather a sign of submission to men. Their situation isn't comparable to the Bodi tribe.
