Keeping up motivation to gain

J8o8h8n:
How do you stay motivated to gain when you start to feel sick/uncomfortable from stuffing yourself daily? I'm at what's supposed to be day 4 of my 30 day stuffing/gaining challenge and, since I woke up this morning, I haven't really wanted to eat much and I feel an almost hungry yet full feeling.

As a general rule of thumb, if it stops feeling good, stop doing it.
Constantly stuffing yourself on the daily for a month straight is a bad idea if you haven't trained yourself to handle it. And I know that you haven't done that based on your previous posts

I've said this before, but I will say it again. You need to figure out how many calories you normally eat, how many you are capable of eating without getting sick, and what your goal is - whether that be calories or capacity.

You also need to understand you cannot keep up a constant month-long stuffing without taking breaks. The human body was not meant to be that full for that long.

Start smaller. You are doing too much too soon. If you aren't careful, you're going to send yourself to the hospital.

Take a week off to give yourself a chance to recover. Then try again - but smarter this time.

Fast food

Munchies:
I wouldn't say that fast food is engineered to be addictive. However, fast food addiction is a real thing. There are well-established scientific reasons behind this as you can see in this article.

It is also possible not to like Big Macs. I personally hate everything from Mcdonald's except for their drinks, and maybe their hash browns if I get a random craving for them. But that happens once every few years or so.

Morbidly A Beast:
All food technically releases dopamine it just so happens that meals high in fat carbs and salt tend to release more cause of our innate reward system in our brains. You want more you crave more because we are hard wired to do so, it’s just our bodies aren’t working hardly at all for that meal as opposed to our ancestors who could have maybe had a portion of that meal.

Big Macs are just so good! And the newer 1/4 burger patties are so tasty. You don’t even like a McChicken? That’s wow. Can’t relate.

Yes. All of that is mentioned in the article. They don't put specially addictive chemicals, but it does take advantage of how the human body works. Plus, there are other psychological aspects too. I could go into more detail, but the article covers everything.

I cannot overstate just how much I do not like McDonald's. All the food just tastes flat, chemically, and weird in a bad way to me. Everything on the menu tastes better somewhere else. Hell, I can usually cook it myself and it tastes better.

I also tend to feel gross after eating their food too. So there's no temptation for me. Won't even eat their salads because it tends to be wilted and sad when I get one. It's quite simply not worth it.

Opinion on the differences between plump, chubby, and fat.

Johniav:
Obviously, the differences between plump, chubby, and fat are according to the observer. What is your perspective?

"Plump" and "chubby" mean the same thing. In fact, the definition of the word "chubby" is "plump and rounded."

"Chubby" and "fat" are very distinct. Chubby refers to being soft and overweight. Fat refers to being obese. Of course, there are people who call anyone that isn't slim and trim "fat". I suppose that's technically true in the sense they have an excess of fat on them. But these days, I don't think anyone would call someone who is built, thick, or curvy "fat" due to the ratio of muscle to fat.

Super-sized women / fit man combo

Nickfrost:
There is something about the juxtaposition between the body of a full bodied curvy woman against a toned athletic male. It is always a stimulating dynamic to see in the world. You picking up what I’m putting down?

I love body contrasts. I'm on the flip side of this. I love being a toned athletic woman juxtaposed with a full-bodied man. Feels so right.

Fast food

MVP76:
Fast food is pretty horrible for the environment and for it's unhumane treatment of animals through factory farming. Then don't forget u r eating diseased sick antibiotic laden meat and this is just the tip of the iceberg. It shoukd really be better regulated . And they really don't want the public to b aware so inform ur self.

You are 100% correct about all of this. However, there isn't any ethical consumption under capitalism. There are ways to decrease your individual imprint, but that can be easier said than done.

Fast food

Morbidly A Beast:
people say that fast food is “engineered” to be extra tasty so you get more cravings for it, but that’s just cope for people who can’t admit they like it. Honestly the stigma against fast food is so silly no one can say they don’t like a Big Mac it’s ridiculous.

Sugar or fat?

Executiveassistant:
Which is better to add more of to get a bigger belly?

Be careful with both - especially sugar. Contrary to popular belief, sugar makes you fatter than fat does. However, this fat tends to be visceral (organ) fat. This says nothing of the risk for tooth decay and diabetes.

It's best to go for a diverse, high-calorie diet. At least get a mix of healthy and unhealthy foods. That way, you can get fatter for longer periods of time.

Andrii1995:
why fast food is so tasty.? but why weight growing so fast (?

Fast food has high amounts of fat, sugar, and salt. So not only does it taste good and is addictive, it packs on the pounds.

Can someone tell me why it is great to feed your boyfriend or husband?

Charly1110:
I am not sure I will like it. So I need some advice. What is it like to have a fat husband. He is currently pretty skinny.

Having a fat SO isn't that different from having a thin SO. They are your partner first and foremost.

I've also always found it shallow and gross the way people will say things like "I don't like my partner as much now that they no longer look like ___". That's the love of your life, not a Sims character.

Anyone else notice others (or themselves) unconsciously touching their bellies as they get bigge

Biffa:
My bf never had this mannerism before, but I've noticed now since he's started to get enough of a belly that it's starting to be visible even though his baggy shirts, when he's walking around doing stuff I'm constantly catching his hands idly brushing his tummy or coming to rest on it for a few moments. I find it so darn adorable! I almost don't want to say anything about it in case it would make him self conscious and do it less. I don't think it's something he's fully aware he's doing if that makes sense.
Was wondering if anyone else has noticed this in others as they've gained weight, or caught themselves doing it? I suppose maybe it's a little subconscious acknowledgement of the new weight one feels oneself carrying around? Like you're aware in the back of your mind there's something there now that didn't use to be, and you're trying to adjust to it. I love it.

I know my partner does this.

I also want to add that if you have squishy parts, sometimes you'll just play with your softness no matter how you feel about said softness.
