Wow there were some terrific replies here. All of my experience as an Encourager has been online save a lover over 20 years ago. She and I reconnected for some Encouragement and Gains two years ago but this time it was online. But she is a foodee in the purest sense who doesn't like gaining.
The women I talk or formerly talked to here all seemed to do just fine and quite happily gaining without a feeder. They relished the process and enjoyed the success and transformation of their bodies.
Since You have a limit that is Just 50 lbs away I concur completely with Layla. Just start relaxing any dietary restrictions you had in the past. You won't need to stuff or drink shakes or even eat ice cream or brownies every night or do buffets every week. You can start by just eating Everything and Anything You desire. If You feel like a second dessert for instance. Then have it. If not then just have one. If You truly want some brownies then make some and eat them until You don't want anymore.
I am assuming that while You weren't a slave to diet or the gym in the past. I bet you ate "sensibly " quite often .So now just Eat and Enjoy yourself. You'll gain a few lbs a month and save plenty of fast gaining for later when You find a Feeder. If You don't ever find one you'll have a year or two of good unfettered enjoyment and can then switch to finding a good straight up FA.

Edit. I just re-read Layla's reply. The 250 and 300 were hypothetical numbers. So I will now say that I agree with Layla still! Just Let Go and start gaining a few lbs a month

I agree on Belly at it's biggest circumference .
And the thigh is super important because it is easy to measure and is a real true indicator of gaining.Your thigh doesn't change from a recent stuffing or from having an empty belly. It will just be nice and fat.

I wish you worked at MY. YMCA. It would be neat to see a Kindred Spirit in everyday life. I would be a Big Flirt too. Can't help it. Lol
How much have You gained working there and how long a time? I read about a woman working at Dairy Queen gaining 60 lbs in a year and a half. Unfortunately for Her it was unwanted lbs.
I have worked at this Car dealership for 12 years and we've had probably 20 receptionist over that time. One of them was 5'2" and probably 175 when she started. She left Two years later weighing 208 with massive boobs and a Belly even bigger! I found out she liked Almond Joy and I would buy her about 3 a week. She would always say "I shouldn't have this ".But she Always smiled and thanked me and never Once turned my offer down.

The Y that I work out at has always got a mix of fit physical trainer types and overweight ladies of every age working there.I have not however seen any of them gain . But it is a huge membership facility with so many employees that I can't really keep track. Now I AM able to notice that most of the members training who are overweight-usually don't reduce.Because they do boring treadmill only workouts. Or even two different cardio machines but No resistance training. One lady I befriended has lost 55 pounds and is still short and thick and cute as anything. But she never misses her workouts and does a mix with cardio.Weights and even some medicine ball training.
The best place I've seen for weight gain behind a counter is at my Hair Salon that I've gone to for 9 years. They send out for take-out at the Pizza-Sub Shop down the Shopping Center 100 feet away. The ones taking the appointments gain more than the stylists who spend a great deal of time on their feet.

Wow. I had my annual today too!
218. Last year 209. Year before 224! Up from 196.The 224 year I just told him the truth. Quit going to the gym and drank high calorie microbrew beer every night. There was no lecture just my Doc telling me how he loves good beer too but restricts his drinking to certain times.
Congrats on your 25 lb gain in your petite little frame. You Look Amazing!

Amy, you might want to consider doing some weight training...? I think this and walking are the two most fundamental types of exercise, especially for overweight people. And when I say weights, I mean proper stuff - big bar, heavy weights (once technique is mastered), compound movements (squats, deadlifts, cleans etc.). Real movements that will be useful for mobility etc.
That knee injury sounds nasty, though, so take case in anything you do even if it was 10 years ago!
I'm fond of walking and have been doing some of that for exercise lately. The weight training is also something I've been considering, as others have recommended it as well. I think it's something I could really come to enjoy, too. Thanks for the suggestion!
I agree with the weight training. And Real weight training-not little dumbbells "for tone" but real strength building. The biggest eye opener for me is the model Kellie Kay.She has always exercised quite vigorously including some real weight training.I saw a video of her weighing over 500 lbs and she popped right up off the floor with ease! This was after sitting down on her coffee table and absolutely breaking all four legs by accident.
So yes .Squats.Leg Curls Leg extensions.Lunges.Lat bar pulldowns.and Barbell Rows.Big muscle exercises to make you strong and mobile-but keep your weight or even gain more-as Kellie is Still doing to this day. Best wishes Maimee
