I literally was wondering about the same thing. But it is true, they cannot ask questions about why you are getting big because that will be rude.
I’m blaming my gain on being depressed. No one is going to question it if they know I have been depressed. And if they do, I’ll say I found comfort in food.
I wouldn’t even bother saying that unless you feel like you owe people an explanation, I don’t think you do I can tell you that an explication never comes up, like people will not ask “why are you fat now?” At most people will rib you for your increased appetite/ offer unsolicited diet advice/tip toe around asking you what size you need for clothing for like presents.
i can tell you I can count on one hand the times my weight was mentioned and I’ve gained 300 lbs. it’s really not the big deal people make it out to be. Can’t stress it enough.
You think oh these people will def say something I haven’t seen them since I gained x amount of weight, will not come up. Unless you’re dealing with a genuinely fatphobic person.

I don’t understand the angle here at all, like it would be nice to have someone pay for my food and stuff; I can easily spend 500-600 dollars just on food in 1 weekend just on food but I don’t understand the wanting to pay for it, like I don’t even wanna pay for my own food and food brings me joy, I don’t understand wanting to pay for someone else is that like financial fem dom stuff or something. Definitely not the most exciting list but I am a pretty basic eater. McDonald’s is generally my go to because it fills me up with basic fast food for a reasonable price.

Culver’s made it into my top tier because of the cheese curds! Their burgers are good, but on par with many other places, what sets them apart are the cheese curds!
I really like their custard ice cream I used to get two triple Wisconsin Swiss mushroom patty melts a large basket of cheese curds a large concrete mixer and 6 tenders but the Culver’s near me closed big sad but my colon probably thanked me, I probably didn’t poo for a month after I’d eat all that
