I admit that I didn't read all of the previous posts on this topic, however I do have something to ad.
I have written over a hundred WG stories, posted on my old DA site. I deleted it earlier this year for personal reasons. That being said here are some of the reasons my characters gained weight:
Love, to please a spouse or significant other; job, caused gain, or gained to keep job; sexual fantasies i.e. feeder/feedee; disguise to go under cover; revenge, either gaining themselves or fattening another. These are just a few of my plots. I hope these help.

When I padded in the past. I made my own padding items. I used pillow stuffing fiber and filled old tube socks and sewed the ends shut. I took an old camp (small) pillow and made on end a "V" to look more realistic stuffed into briefs. I cut the liner out of an old pair of jogging shorts, it was high rise and easily filled with the padding of choice. Just a couple of thoughts. I liked your tutorial, well done!

Your waist will be bigger, and depending on genetics you may have a soft belly or a firm belly. I've gained twenty six pounds in the last few years. My waist is now 47" up from 44". You should take photos of yourself as you gain, you will be amazed.

I'm up about ten pounds. I hit a new high (weight) at a weigh-in at the VA, 237.1 lbs. My heaviest yet.

My waist is larger and I feel short of breath bending down to tie shoes etc. I love how firm and round my ball belly is.

Sorry to hear that you closed your deviant art account, you had some amazing stories that I love to read over and over on there. I was hoping you'd be able to post all those stories on FF or somewhere else where we can enjoy it forever! I especially miss the story about the gymnasts gaining weight for their friend and the ones with the girl gaining weight during the school year to attract her crush when he comes home for the summer.

I have included descriptions of this in several of my stories. I have called it "fast food hopping", going from one fast food place to another, usually taking a whole day, well into the evening. Great fantasy!
