Kitsune:
On an old account, I created a thread about finding the original photo of a magazine photo. Which consists of a famous BHM celebrity in a suggestive pose. It isn't lost media per say. However, the existing copy so far is a low quality phone capture found on Pinterest.
As of now, I think I found the lead to the photo. A few days back I was curiously looking up magazines of said celebrity and there was similar photos in a magazine. Which I think is where my holy grail came from since the style is pretty similar.
Now, enough with my rambling and onto the topic. I was wondering what is considered necroposting? I know it is frowned upon here to revive dead posts. I thought of bringing back my old post about the aforementioned findings and personally to me I think it should be ok because I am the original poster. Afterall, I've seen this happen in the Lost Media Wiki where people who find new leads update their threads.
It makes me ask a question. What is considered old? When is the discussion officially over?
There doesn't seem to be a dead-set rule regarding necroposting. But then again I have never read the TOS. If there isn't a rule, I hope it get implemented that way we won't make any mistakes. Maybe users can share a link to their previous blog in their new post that way people can get the context.
Also I think there should be a pinned thread about the rules of necroposting. Just make sure the tone is friendly for us ND folks.
In my opinion, posting on an old thread means you might miss the full context due to deleted posts from inactive accounts, which can take away some of the nuance. I don’t necessarily frown upon it, and it’s not technically against the website rules, but since there’s no limit to posting on forums, why not just start a new thread? You can always link to an older thread and reference it if you think it’s relevant using the forums bbcode.

Hi,
Thanks for sending the video over to us.
We attempted to upload the file but encountered the same issue and error message. It appears that the .mov file contains two audio streams, which is causing the problem—the site is unable to process the second audio, which seems to be an APC audio stream.
There’s nothing wrong with your file, but our video processing system needs updating to accommodate these file types. I’ll make a note of this for future improvements.
In the meantime, the easiest solution would be to convert your file to another format and re-upload it.
Thank you for your patience and co-operation.
Take care,

Thank you for the screenshot. Unfortunately, since the full error message isn't visible, I can't pinpoint the exact issue.
If you're unable to copy and paste the full error message (so we can see it without being cropped), the best thing to do is check whether the issue is related to the specific video you're trying to upload. When I tested a video upload, I didn’t encounter any issues.
To rule out a video-specific problem, could you send the video to our team email at
team@fantasyfeeder.com and we’ll do a test upload to see if we can replicate the error and identify the cause.
Thank you.

Hi,
When you say "PMs," are you referring to personal messages in the chat room or the website's inbox/messaging system?
If you're referring to website messages, I’ve encountered this issue before. It has been reported to Hiccupx, but a quick fix is to expand the message box before typing. You can do this by clicking and dragging the small square with three diagonal lines in the bottom left corner of the text box. Expanding the box before typing should hopefully resolve the issue.
Hope this helps!

Gty2020:
This has happened a couple of times before but at approx 8:20 EST on Jan 27th I was put into a chat room with an other people. I tried to say something but it did not write there and when I went to the general chat it was there.
Happened before, both before and after the recent upgrade. Can give the names of the people in the chat if needed
Hi, thanks for commenting.
This is a known bug and is not related to the update applied yesterday. The update was focused on foundational work to address chat leak bugs, so unfortunately, these issues will still occur for now.
If you notice anything new or unexpected happening in chat that wasn’t an issue before the update on 27th January 2025, please let us know. I apologise if this wasn’t clear in the original post.
Thanks,

As you may have seen in the general forum chat is currently offline while we make some back end updates to the code.
Due to the amount of work that's required for the the chat. We are making small updates.
As this is a back end update, the UI will not have changed, and the chat leaks have not been addressed yet, but this upload is the first step to resolving this issue.
As with all updates, we test as much as possible before uploading to the site, but some bugs may remain.
If you experience anything unusual / new bugs please add the details here so we can monitor everything in one place.
Thanks,
