While we do have a forum thread for reporting chat tech issues, you're right that many users who experience issues in chat aren't active on the forums and may not know it exists.

Adding a built-in reporting option directly in chat similar to the report buttons on other areas and content sections on the site would be helpful and I think it's a great suggestion.

That said, it’s not something we’ll be able to implement quickly enough to support the current round of chat improvements we're going to focus on this year with the chat leaks. But I will certainly put forward this suggestion as a feature improvement for the chat.
