JackSteven:
It seems to me that those posting pictures add value to the site and those viewing pictures receive value from the site.
Each photo posted should credit the account. Each 'like' should credit the account as should each view.
The credits can be drawn from those viewing who are spending their credits to view and like.
Credits can be purchased for money using the subscriptions.
The values for each can be tweaked for best results.
The idea is then that those who provide the site with it's value, the people posting the photos that others want to see can get to use the site for free or even make a bit of money.
I think this is something like how Steemit works.
Any suggested improvements on this basic idea?
I've been thinking along similar lines myself and thanks for the link to Steemit - it's nice to see a working model. I'm still formulating ideas so it's good to hear what other people think.

Chat is up and working, so it could just be a temporary connection error. Sometimes a slow connection or busy chat room can mean that it takes a few seconds to kick-in. Please let me know if this is a persistent problem and I'll look into it further.

The website should now be fully HTTPS compliant.

Thanks for pointing this out. It could just be a temporary caching issue. Try refreshing the page and see if this helps.
The website should now be fully HTTPS compliant. If anyone notices any other issues with this please write about them below.

The website currently defaults to HTTP on the videos and chat which have been the main blocker to full HTTPS compliance.
However I've been working on this and am hoping to have the website fully HTTPS enabled within the next week or so.

I've tested both the pic and video paging and as far as I can tell they seem to be working. Please describe your problem in greater detail, does your browser just hang or are there other symptoms?

I hope you all like the recent changes to the private messaging system. I've tried to simplify it by having one contact per user and also speed it up with several performance optimizations.
As you may have noticed the pages now look a little different so I'll try and answer some of the questions you may have below:
Have I lost any messages?
You should not have lost any messages through this update, however you now only have one row per member on the contacts page so there may be less rows.
Why do I now have contacts with no messages?
These are members who have messaged you in the past who's messages you've deleted. You can just delete them if you wish.
Why to I have contacts with no name or avatar?
These are contacts who've deleted their account. Please just delete these.
Where is the outbox page?
For the sake of simplicity the outbox page is no more. However you can see if a member has read your message by opening their message page.

Hey Nok,
Sorry you feel frustrated by the rate of change but I can assure you that I'm constantly working to improve the website and make it the best it can be. I don't have a team of coders, it's just me but I try to make the best use of the time I have available.
There are many things still to do but I'm hoping you'll have noticed some of the recent changes to the messaging system. Also a long standing bug fix to the pic uploads to prevent the width being cropped which was happening in some cases.
I'm currently still working on the messaging to give it more of an app type feel, with just one line per contact and plenty of AJAXing to speed things up.
Thanks for your offer of help but with 1000s of lines of code it's not really something that people can easily just dip into
