Documenting weight gain

Of course the Wall Test would be fun over time:

Hard to photograph but well worth the trouble!

Documenting weight gain

Take series of comparable photos as you gain. By comparable, I mean have some standard poses that you repeat very precisely every time.

A lot of people will take gaining photos, but they'll be standing in one sitting in the other, lying down in the next...it makes it very hard to see if they're gaining.

If you feel this would compromise your creative side, note that you can still take spontaneous photos or one-offs; just don't neglect the standardized poses while you're at it!

How public/open are you about

I think if you just date enough larger people your friends will eventually get it.

Gaining and laziness?

It's almost a cliché that people get lazier as they get fatter, but how true is it? (Feeders can answer these questions for their partners if they wish).

1. Have you gotten lazier as you've gained?

2. Has the laziness been helpful at all? I mean sometimes people are conflicted about gaining because it will make certain things too difficult...but then when they do get fat they find they're too lazy to even want to do those things. Has this happened to you? Examples?

Do you try to control your appetite or do you stuff yourself?

All well and good, but let me point out that some don't stuff...they just nibble all day. And that's fine too!

(I just point this out because some people think they can never be feedees because they don't like to stuff. Not true!)

Regaining weight

MissPorker:
So, yes, regains can get pretty intense lol

24 pounds in a week! That DOES sound intense!

MassiveMyke (see thegaininglife.tumblr.com/) gained something like 30 pounds in a week after losing 200 pounds. He said it was the greatest week of his life!

Did you enjoy it THAT much?

Regaining weight

When you gain weight, you add new fat cells. When you lose weight, you keep the fat cells--they just lose fat.

When you regain all those fat cells sop up those extra calories like a sponge and get fat again.

Fattening in films

billedmeup:
Eat, Pray, Love has a scene where Julia Roberts and her friend go for pizza and the friend complains that she has gained 10 pounds and can't button her jeans. There follows a montage of them eating and trying on too tight jeans, etc.

This was disappointing...there was no visible weight gain, just her trying on tight pants and some very minor implied gluttony. Anyone can try on tight pants.

Crappy movie in general, especially if you're not in the target demographic. I walked out.
