I think it varies, but for me, it's the food itself, the feeling of binging, and the feeling of new fat. All three are incredibly enticing.

I mind a lot when men assume we're being drama queens when we say we've had bad times.

Of course there are both men and women who are drama queens. Of course both men and women behave badly in relationships.

But in my experience, there is a disproportionate amount of really bad behaviour here. Might be because feeding is so closeted, so it warps our behaviour. Might be because the internet protects one from the consequences of one's actions. But two men who have declared their love to me disappeared overnight--one of them TWICE, more the fool me. And that's not counting the ordinary everyday bad behaviour.

That doesn't mean there aren't some wonderful guys here--I've met some. Really lovely, sweet, thoughtful guys. I'm not making a judgment about all men, or all feeders, or all FAs, or all guys on the internet. I'm just saying that some people can be awfully badly behaved, and it can leave an awfully bitter taste in one's mouth.
