Only one message a day?

Not any more. Views are now notched up per person, so you can view up to five people in 24 hours and you can view their messages as many times as you like in that time.

Only one message a day?

I don't understand because we've recently upgraded the messages section to make it more clear about how many message views you can have.

Basic members can view up to 5 messages in 24 hours and this is displayed at the top of the page. A small yellow 'eye' icon shows the messages you have viewed, and you can view these as many times as you like. If you've used up your 5 views then a timer shows you when you can next view a message. I hope this is much clear than the previous system.

If you just want to view unlimited messages without having to wait then the Social upgrade offers this along with unlimited use of chat and other useful features.

Video run-time politics

I think they're referring to the Fantasy upgrade which removes the viewing limit

Video run-time politics

It's something I've been thinking about doing for a while, but I think it will involve some website changes to make it easier for people to upload longer videos.

Currently they have to wait while the video uploads from their device to the server, which for longer videos on a slow connection could take several minutes.

I'll look to see if it's possible for the videos to upload as a background process so people can get on with using the website while it uploads. They could be sent a notification when it's ready.

I agree though, 3 second videos do seem pretty pointless.

Having to log in again. . .

It's just unfortunate that the login expired as you tried to send a comment.

Most websites have an expiry time on logins as a safety feature. It means that if you forget to logout on a public computer your login will automatically expire after a few minutes.

You can extend this expiry time to a month by clicking the 'remember me' checkbox when you first login. However eventually your login will expire again. It's necessary to keep members logging in every so often so that they don't forget their passwords. Again it's also a security feature.
