Debating club at university. That debating gave bonus points for well done heckling explains a lot about our conversations some days

When I'm really in the grips of my stuffing and gaining desires, my motto becomes "You don't know you've had enough until you've had too much." And some pain is the sign that I've hit too much. I'm not that far gone in those desire too often, but occasionally I get the desire and opportunity at the same time, and to stop before being painfully full would mean not taking full advantage of the fact.

Glad the wedding was great, CB!

First time that I got up around my heaviest, was driving along a highway that was scratched up for repaving. Suddenly the fat on my inner thighs started resonating with the vibration..... Omg, if I could bottle that sensation I'd be rich!
I also like having everything jiggle and shake when I clomp down stairs.

I agree that it is intentional....just not directed or targeted. And I think you will gain until decide you've gone a little too far....and probably a bit more after that.

I've done a couple of around sixty hours. Quite planned out, to maximize how much I could eat. Each time my weight shot up about ten pounds from start to finish, but only a couple of pounds stuck around as fat after--most was food in my system, and probably water retention from all the salt.
Really fun how much my gut stuck out at the end

Other than my wife, who is marginally fatter than I am, I'm the fattest. MIL and FIL were bigger, but the former lost a lot due to ill health, and the latter passed away.

I'd say whatever works best for you. Bodies vary, and personalities and lifestyles vary even more.
For me, many smallish meals is best.

I think a lot is genetics, that you cannot do much about. Some is probably testosterone levels, which is a mix of genetics, age, and environment. I suspect food and exercise are only minor factors. Sorry.

Not a huge deal, but it did embarrass me.
When we got married we were young and tight on cash. We agreed that instead of the traditional outfits we'd get things we could wear again-- her a nice dress, me a good quality suit. And we explained this to pretty much everyone.
A year later one of my friends got married....the first occasion we had after our wedding to dress up. Ummm, neither of us could fit into our wedding outfit. I would have actually saved money renting a tux.
