Why do men visit my profile (i’m male)?

I think the replies nailed it right on the head. Of course, there are gay and Bi men. OP being straight doesn't mean men of those sexualities can't look at nice pics smiley. Also, as mentioned, getting inspiration or to imagine what oneself would look like at different sizes. I'm straight and married, but have made friends with many gay and bi men in the community. Even straight ones just looking to get gaining tips and ideas. Or just a friend to share their gaining journey. Also as was mentioned, I'd take it as a compliment! Lol smiley

If i gain a lot of weight, can i avoid double chin?

Ditzy:
Its a newcomer question and I get that but I feel people just don't listen.
My goal here is to give honest answers to people's questions.

Definitely! smiley I too try to help and answer questions the best I can. There can be some complex questions people ask here. Having experience or knowledge about it make things quicker and easier. Especially for people new to the forums and/or feedism.
It's just those times you see the same question asked over and over only to see 2 posts down the same question was asked and answered. It's like "just look or read the forums little, darnit!" LOL smiley

If i gain a lot of weight, can i avoid double chin?

Ditzy:
Once again to answer your questions you can't pick and choose where the fat will accumulate.
All of that is driven by your genetics which means you have no control over where the fat will go.

Munchies:
I think the two most common pieces of advice you give are "You cannot control where you fat goes" and "If you want to gain weight, eat regular food, but more of it."

You're 100% correct.

A quick browse of the forums shows that those 2 questions have been repeatedly asked and answered more times than we can count lol. I'd say it'd be helpful to make some kind of banner at the top of the forums answering those 2 questions. So that people would see it before asking. But I would guarantee it wouldn't change a thing smiley.

If i gain a lot of weight, can i avoid double chin?

MrCupeKe:
I’ve seen things I can wear around my head to prevent double chin, would this work even as I gain weight?

As far as I know ones fat distribution is all about genetics. Fat will accumulate where it does and there isn't anything you can really do about it short of surgery. If you have overweight family members you may be able to tell how you might gain seeing where they do. But it isn't a guarantee.

Why significant weight gain takes discipline.

Well said! I see so many questions of people pigging out for a few days and hoping to be huge in no time. It doesn't work that fast! Gaining is a marathon not a sprint. Just do the math. 1lb of body fat is 3500 calories. That is in excess to what you burn everyday just existing! Which is 2000-2500 roughly. To gain 1lb in 1 day would be at least 5500 calories! Then take into account that fat is distributed all over your body. So it takes substantial amounts of it to be noticeable.
Of course it can be done. Look at all the people who have gained. But, just like people who are losing weight it's a life style change. Most successful habits or life changes take gradual change. If you start downing cartons of heavy cream each day not only will your body not be able to digest it all, but you won't be able to keep that up and will end up giving up. Like you said, change things you normally do with some thing slightly different, soda instead of water. Then keep adding things. Also, keep track of calories! Just how people trying to lose weight underestimate how many calories they eat in a day. The same can happen with gaining.
I've gone from about 140ish to 215ish in a bit less than a year. I could have gained faster but took some breaks in between. But even still it took a lot of hard work. Expensive too! All issues that can be overcome. Trust me, I want to be fat fast just as much as the next person. But tempering your expectations and having a game plan and idea of what it will take is the best path to success. Best of luck everyone!

Do you like the belly of a bigger person or the all around figure of a bigger person?

DollGirl:
I like the all around figure. But I do have a particular affinity for bellies

I'm exactly the same. I think being big all around usually looks balanced and proportionate. I also think bellies are awesome!

Trouble gaining weight

Heavy cream, as others have said is pretty much the pinnacle. It has one of the highest calorie counts for the money. Yet is still palatable and digestible.
Other things that can help is mixing carbs and fats. Pasta with butter. Lots of butter. Just be careful with carbs and sugars as they lead more toward visceral fat that is the kind that causes health issues. Going back and forth between starving yourself and eating like crazy can confuse your metabolism a bit.
I was skinny and even underweight before trying to gain most my life. Gaining weight is hard work! Lol. It's 3500 calories for just 1 lb of body fat. Then that fat is distributed all over your body. So it takes a lot to be noticeable. Keep track of how many calories you eat. You need about 2000-2500 a day just to exist. Then going above that on a consistent basis. It will also take time. Gaining is a marathon not a sprint. Just like losing. Count calories to see how much extra you eat a day and you can then do the math to see how much you will gain and how long it will take. It's usually almost 10lbs to be noticeable, depending on you body. There are calorie and gaining calculators online. You don't so much have to ruin your metabolism but to beat it into submission smiley.
I think many people don't realize how hard gaining can be and how long it takes. I know I didn't lol. But don't let that discourage you. Just temper your expectations. Keep at it and before you know it a month will have passed and you've gained 15-20lbs. Even if it's less, a few months can pass pretty fast and those calories add up. Best of luck! Hope that helps a little.

Delayed weight gain from hc

I've used heavy cream to go from about 140ish lbs to about 215lbs. It definitely works and can work fast. BUT, and that's a big but (ha!) It still takes time. 1 quart of heavy cream is about 3600 calories. Which if it all converts to body fat would be 1lb. But, you still have to eat your daily 2000-2500 calories on top of that. Also, heavy cream being so high in fat it can take your digestive track days to week or so to adjust. Even then it can only digest so much. Drinking smaller amounts, a few hundred calories worth throughout the day can help.
Delayed weight does happen. But I've never noticed it to be anything crazy. Usually just noticing more jiggle or a little bit more of a roll forming. It all depends on how much you gain and how much you weight already to see if it's noticeable. Weight gain in general is a marathon not a sprint. I will say, if you keep using heavy cream as the weeks and months the pass you WILL gain a lot. Keep at it smiley

Has anyone ever heard of or even been to a feeder camp?

Back in the day on various forums I saw people try to make them happen. Not sure how successful it all was. None of them were anything like a legit well funded summer camp. I think they all ended up being weekends or extended weekend meetups with lots of eating.
In Mauritania, Africa, young women go to camp like these. But it's most often against there will and is a human rights issue.
For a legit "fat camp/feedee camp" that is something funded and structured like a summer camp where people can go and have medical professionals assist with gaining weight as fast and healthily as possible most likely doesn't exist and would take a lot of money, people, and resources to make happen. I could be wrong. Maybe there is something close to that. But I've yet to see it. Sounds fun tho! Lol

How dramatic are heavy cream results, really?

Heavy cream has been the single biggest help in my gain. As I had a hard time eating enough and gaining. It took about a week for my digestive track to accept it better. Also, drinking smaller amounts throughout the day helped. Your body can only absorb so much so fast. But you can see by my pics. I've gone from about 144lbs to 215 now. I've had breaks in between. But I'd say I could about 2-3 lbs a week. Sometimes more sometimes less. I usually drink 1 quart over a day or two. 1 quart of heavy cream is about 3600 calories which is how much 1 lb of body fat is. So, if you eat your daily 2000-2500 calories and add in heavy cream on top of that you basically gain 1 lbs for each quart you drink. Of course it isn't as exact as that. But it's a good baseline. Hopefully that helps a bit. smiley I made a before and after pic that shows the results lol
