Become morbidly obese? live a normal life?

TheUltimate323:
I'm 22, and I'm on my way to gaining weight. I only weigh 66kg now, but my goal is to reach 82kg, which would certify me as obese. I'm 165cm tall. My goal would be to weigh between 109 and 120kg, which would make me morbidly obese.

My question is, can you live a relatively normal life at that weight? Obviously there will be some mobility limitations, not fitting into some seats, having to buy large sizes, but that turns me on.
You know, living a relatively normal life?

Fattest of your friends/family

The fattest in my family, by 350 lbs, weigh the same as my parents and older brother combined.

Have a few friend that was the biggest person I knew but now it’s me. One was about 480 and one 650, but he is down to 450.

This is to get opinions,

There seems to be underlying social normality of striving to live longer and longer. Is this a paradigm worth discussing. Does our western society have an obsession with life span, and is it rational.

Thoughtful responses please.

These are my two cents as a woman of color.

Society does not want me to exist. I am at an elevated risk of mortality in all categories simply because of bigotry. I have lost so many friends and family members to bigoted systems - sometimes at a young age.

People like me want to live despite society wanting us to die. We fight for life, both tooth and nail because we deserve it. We refuse to let other's hatred of us determine if we get to live a long life or not.

Yes I assumed that you are in aspect of society that is supported to live longer, forgive my white male privilege that is my paradigm to understand and be mindful of when posting.

Tell me your embarrassing fat moments

Getting on a bus to find I could not fit down the aisle between the seats. So people in the accessible to me front seats had to move down, with a lot of fuss, very embarrassing.

Pdf (public displays of fat)

I support public freedom, if it does not physically hurt anyone or property or create a significant loss of amenity to others, then it should be the society norm. Down with public judgement and more inquiry and discussion. Make for more gross national happiness.

When men gain weight, they tend to develop potbellies?

If you gain fat under the muscle visceral fat then you will have ball belly. If you have more fat under the skin subcutaneous then you will have a pillow belly. I think testosterone levels will also effect this and placement of fat in other areas of the body like the buttock hips and legs.
