That is the reason why we've not developed an app before now. It would be like trying to maintain two websites and we currently just don't have the resources. Instead we're focusing on making this website as fast and usable as possible.

Moved to personal ads

I've just checked the text chat and it's working for me. Have you ever been able to access the text chat on your device or is this just a temporary glitch? If you've never been able to access it on your device, what type of device are you using? (e.g. type of mobile phone or pc, and make of browser).

Well the friend feature didn't really do anything apart from show members as friends in your profile. Following actually displays their activity as a feed.

Friends doesn't exist anymore as a feature. Instead you can now follow members, which will give you a feed of their activity in the shouts section (follow ta. To follow someone, just click the follow icon on their profile.

If you go to the shout page, you should see a new tab at the top called 'following'.

This is available to everyone and replaces the old friends feature which was was part of the Social upgrade.

'Following' allows you to follow the activity of other members on the site, making it into a Twitter-like feed.

To follow members, click on the following icon on their profile, or add members on the 'following' page.

Blocks have not yet been build into the new chat system but it's on my list of things to do.
