Did i gained a lot or not ?

Quink333:
So i was on vacation for past week. It was all inclusive and feedee friend of my encouradged me to eat alot. I ate like never before, i was constantly stuffed, I only had greasy or sugary food, only drink cola.

Today i weighed myself and find out i gained 3 kg over one week.

Friend told me it's alot but to me it seems like nothing. Tbh i don't really have consept of how much it is or not. I only now found out how hard it is to eat 5000 calories.

Is it alot or not ?

So, objectively speaking, 3 kg (appox 6 lbs) is a lot of weight to gain in a week. For context, doctors recommend losing no more 1 kg (approx 2 lbs) for healthy weight loss.

Now, around here, 3 kg doesn't seem like much. And in a way, it really isn't. It's about the same weight as a newborn baby. But that adds up over time - quickly.

What is best way to gain (soft) fat?

HappyBigBelly:
It’s genetics that dictates a lot of this. I take after the men in my mom’s side and we’re all medium frame guys with harder, beach ball bellies (visceral). My wife takes after her dad’s side, where both the men and women are large people with blubbery soft fat and huge, exploding waistlines :-)

Genetics does play a huge impact. However, certain things you do (or don't do) can influence what happens to your body.

Hi, I only noticed this today, in my notifications.

[User] is xx miles from you in [Location] Why not introduce yourself?

[User] is new to the website. Why not give them a welcome?

Is this a new feature? How does it work?

I honestly thought I had multiple spam bots on my account until one of my notifications was from an active user.

I think it's an attempt to boost engagement.

Meeting fat men in real life

Petitegirl:
Haha you are probably right. In the US or in the UK it might be way likelier to meet fat men

fatrnfatr:
In the southern US in particular, you will see enormously fat people riding scooters at the Walmart. 400, 500 even 600 pounders. Walmart is like a fat fantasy Disney World.

Can confirm. 'Round here, if you wanna meet a fat person, just go outside. You'll find at least 20 without even trying.

Best ways to gain ?

Bellebrookz:
I’m currently 100 trying to gain but I need tips other than just eat bigger amounts. Food suggestions, times to eat , etc ..

If you are like me when I started my own gain, then your metabolism and your capacity are going to be a problem at first.

Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day. Plenty of snacks too. Also, drink your calories. Juice, soda, smoothies, shakes. Whatever you like.

Also, work on increasing your stomach capacity. Start off with a weekly stuffing or bloating session. You can increase the frequency as you get more comfortable.

But most importantly, have fun. Do not get so caught up in your goals that you forget to enjoy the journey.

What is best way to gain (soft) fat?

Danny823:
Exercising while trying to gain weight is actually super helpful if this is what you want. Exercise will burn visceral fat (there kind that’s deeper inside your body) before subcutaneous fat (the soft kind). So I’d totally recommend hitting the gym while gaining!

Ah, I forgot to add this. Thanks, hun!

Random thought - wonder woman logo and whataburger logo

ILuvChubbyChix:
This might be most applicable to folks who live in the Southern or Southwest United States (except California), or have visited the area several times.

But, ever noticed how much the Whataburger logo looks like the Wonder Woman logo?

If you aren't familiar with Whataburger, it's a chain of burger restaurants that started in southern Texas back in '50, and slowly expanded from there. As far as I can tell, they only seem to be in states that border the Gulf Coast (Deep South) or in the Southwest (shares a border with Mexico) with the exception of California. Kind of surprised no one has tried to open a franchise location in California yet, or Las Vegas, NV, or Arkansas for that matter (Arkansas has the heaviest residents of all American states, last I checked). Easternmost locations appear to be in Jacksonville, FL and westernmost locations seem to be in Phoenix, AZ.

But I remember the other day I asked a woman (who was aware of feederism) if a picture of her was of the Whataburger logo. It seems so obvious now, but she pointed out that no, it's the Wonder Woman logo. Then she commented that she loved that apparently food was on my mind.

Anyway yeah, that's my random thought.

I'm a huge DC fan. When I moved to Texas over a decade ago and saw my first Whataburger, that was the first thing I thought of. I am so happy I am not the only one.
