I remember a cousin of mine came to a family event and had gained a lot of weight. I don't think anyone said anything to his face, but there were quite a few comments behind his back. People were particularly amused how quickly he got in line once the food was served (it was buffet-style).

So....I wonder if they liked the gain and tried to gain more or did they just get used to eating/along with metabolism changing and really started packing it on lacking food choice and portion control?
Could be either way. But some definitely realize they like it after an accidental or experimental gain. E.g., Cherries (ex-Big Cutie) gained a few pounds for her bf and then found she liked it herself and gained quite a bit more.
