All good comments as to possible reasons.
Interesting subject either way.
I know when I lost almost 200 lbs my belly was like a ball sort of but hard.
When I regained the weight it was softer and super flabby.
Boundandfeed:
Yes, how does one explain this? How does it come back softer then the first time?
When you gain you stretch your skin out and when you lose the excess skin stays, thus when you regain you’re softer.

BigBallBellyGirl:
I stuffed all weekend, and my balance is *still* off. Last night, with about 25,000 calories in my belly, I couldn't sit upright, lean forward, or take a full breath. I had to get a belly rub and have my tummy patted and jiggled for a long time to get out a few burps just so I could get up to go to the bathroom. I still feel very "crowded" inside, and my fiance says my stomach still feels hard under my layers of fat.
The heroic triumphant return! Holy crap! Sounds like a lot of fun and the bliss from that stuffed must’ve been amazing

I’m not sure what I’m doing differently my diet hasn’t changed much and I’m getting more exercise than I did in the past but my body just feels way more squishy and soft all over I’m getting these rolls on my arms I’ve never had before 🤷♂️

Could be a couple of things. That said, it's more than likely your increased physical activity is causing you to burn more fat, but you are still eating more than enough to replace it. What this means is you are burning visceral fat, but you are still gaining subcutaneous fat.
It's also possible there's hormone changes, but you haven't said anything to confirm or deny that.
I kinda figured it was something like that with the exercise and I don’t think I’m getting gyno or anything, my moobs seem to be about the same if anything fatter but not necessarily more shaped like boobs or anything so I don’t think it’s hormonal but could be

I have no idea how many steps I take a day while on my feet at work all day, it’s gotta be a lot more than 10,000 most days probably a lot more somedays. But I at least get the walk around the block after dinner if I’m not to stuffed or tired from a long day

It’s important distinction here, are you a feeder/fat admirer or you struggling with the idea of getting fat yourself?
If it’s the former where you feel the need to repress your attraction to fat people you need to do some serious reflection on why that is, fat people aren’t worth your time if you can’t even admit you like them.
Can’t comment much on the later. Its just something you should do if it feels right and you can maintain your life while doing so

Being overweight or Obese isn’t an indicator of health and neither is being underweight. You can maintain a level of health while being fat, it’s just question of how fat you want to be.
And there’s nothing wrong with being unhealthy, being fat isn’t a moral failing.

For me it was an outworking of my gluttonous appetite that I got tired of trying to hold back, what caused that gluttony was probably my extreme diet I had in early adulthood, either was now I long for more soft poundage
