Destroying your metabolism

Before I started gaining I slipped into starvation mode by accident. I was thin and wasn't eating enough for how active I was at work and my body got used to like one meal a day.

I moved away over summer and eating out and more became the norm, so my body thinking food was scarce started to lay down fat from a relatively normal diet. When I noticed this, and having been a gainer before, I took advantage and started overeating. Then recently I started stuffing when I could and my belly has just ballooned since.

I have heard its hard to get back to a regular metabolism, but gaining fat easily now suits me!

Peanut butter and almond milk? Or any other milk than animal milk? Maybe nutella too.

I've just starting drinking gainer shakes and mine are basic, milk and double cream, plenty of calories per glass!

How young did you realize?

Since I was very young I always had a curiosity about what I now know to be feedism.

I have memories of eating until my belly stuck out, sticking toy food under my shirt to simulate weight gain and being way more interested in books and TV shows that involved fat characters, gaining or food.

I remember drawing fatter characters and characters with bellies at home

I even once had a friend I would openly overeat around as when I visited him his family always had plenty of food around. We would often see who could eat the most, rather innocently.

As I got older I'd start playing with belts to make my small belly look bigger and once inadvertently gained to 98 lbs by eating too much when I should have been around 80 for that height.

I distinctly remember one boy calling me a "pot-bellied pig" as a joke when my school shirt got tight around belly. At that moment part of me was embarrassed but another part realised this all linked in somehow.

Fast forward a few years and I discover the internet, find BBW sites, gaining contest sites and eventually set up my first profile on 43things to start my first gain as a gainer smiley.

Fit to fat

I've only gained a small amount for this site but I've gone from slim and athletic to chubby with a fattened belly.

I used to do track running years ago and remained fit from that until I really started exploring gaining and stuffing.

Back in May I was a skinny 112 lbs with abs and reasonably fit then I started gaining over summer.

About a month ago I looked at my softening body and thought 'sod it' and decided to start stuffing myself every day I could.

Now I am here 30 lbs of fat heavier with a nice flabby gut in place of my abs hanging over my jeans. I stuff myself nearly every day, sometimes all day and as a result my belly has fattened up by over 10 inches in a few months, mostly very recently.

So I went from skinny and toned with a 26 inch waist to overfed, insatiable and unfit with a nearly 37 inch fat gut and no muscle tone whatsoever..

No way I could manage one 400mm lap round the track now.

I have given in to my piggy desires and am turning into a butterball fast.

What is your favorite restaurant for stuffing yourself?

I like anything mediterranean. The table orders way too many plates, plenty of bread and wine, if its tapas the plates are brought out so quickly you don't realise how much you are really eating. Its easy to stuff in a tapas/mezze restaurant as everyone else is doing the exact same thing!

Self control

I've often found myself coming to in the kitchen 2 hours after I went in to get a snack surrounded by empty wrappers, and with my belly distended..

Yes self control isn't one of my high points.

From stuffer to gainer

I've kind of gone round in a circle with this.

I dabble in both stuffing and gaining but used to stuff more when I wasn't gaining just to have a temporary belly. As a gainer and tend to gain and lose every couple of years and a few months ago this summer I started putting on weight accidentally by not paying attention to my diet and eating out too often.

One day not long ago I was looking at my new softness and decided to start stuffing whenever I could to see what would happen.

Fast forward to now and I've gained 30 lbs on my slim frame from 112/115, my previously slim body is covered in new soft fat and my belly has grown over 10 inches.

In the past I had always gained gradually but this time I found out that stuffing everyday really accelerates weight gain.. who'd have thought?!

Also I have found stuffing to gain seems to really get my belly fatter, a slower gain makes me gain more evenly.

This stuffing to gain thing wasn't really a planned choice but I am liking it and will carry on to see how many more pounds I'll gain.

Best stuffing foods?

I find bread and pasta to be good for stuffing.

Both are heavy and leave me bloated and round, but a few minutes later I'll be hungry again and ready for more.

And being carbs they will help add pounds if you are gaining.

Out growing clothes

My 28" waist jeans look a bit ridiculous now with a fat gut hanging over them and the button struggling to stay closed..

My new jeans size is probably closer to 34-36" if I'm honest, but I like feeling my jeans straining to contain my belly so I still wear them around.

A button pop in public would also be a new experience!

Thankfully I have some longer fitting t shirts that kind of cover my flab when I need to..

Family and relatives opinion about your weight

Delurking here.

I havent seen my family in 5 months and in that time I've gained 30lbs. The last time they saw me I was a stick now I have a fat belly, clothes are tighter and I am not far from becoming overweight.

My gain is quite unavoidable considering how thin I was so their reactions are going to be interesting.

I do remember my Dad saying jokingly something like "maybe you'll come back with a little meat on you, that would be nice!" I dont think he'd expect his skinny boney son to return as a new blubber ball..

Hopefully any reactions will be temporary, and your folks will get used to your new size. I for one am looking forward to the comments I have coming, though I don't plan on telling my family my gain is intentional, i'd rather keep them amazed and confused at my new appetite!
