Busty guys

Birth control/estrogen pills are prescription only, aren't they?

I really doubt any medical professional worth his salt would issue such a thing to a male.

Maybe HRT, but that's difficult to obtain and would require passing an extensive psychological evaluation to determine if the patient is trans and thus eligible for it, right?

How do i achieve the gainer mindset

Ultimateaaron12:
I think I’m finally ready to give into gaining but my problem is I feel really embarrassed at the idea of ordering at restaurants or grocery shopping like a fat person especially as someone the exact opposite and of course already being shy in general doesn’t help but I’m wondering if anyone who had a similar experience who was embarrassed about giving in and eventually let go has any advice would be greatly appreciated

If it's takeout food, who cares? They don't know if it's just for you, or even if they do, they probably don't care.

At the grocery store... again, who cares? Maybe you're buying for others in addition to yourself.

Even if you forget about gaining and feederism for a second, think about it. Who buys entire turkeys or those big sheet cakes? Or those larger pizzas? Most of them do so with the idea more than one person will be eating it. So maybe that's what you're doing. Or maybe not, but that's not really your business.

You can also always use self checkout. If a cashier asks, say you have a lot of cooking and prep to do, or there's some sort of event or big get-together coming up.

Dumb gaining question

Snivvels:And if you don't worry about your health you can consume products containing Fructose as this gets processed in a different pathway (IIRC.) I believe that in the US at least 'High Fructose Corn Syrup' is added to loads of stuff so is hard to avoid. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

I'm sorry, but this is very bad, even terrible advice.

High Fructose Corn Syrup is extremely vile stuff that messes with your blood sugar levels much worse than regular sugar.

HFCS is primarily found in:
- The vast majority of "regular" soda.
- Most (not all) barbeque sauce and ketchup.
- Some chocolate sauces, most notably Hershey's.
- Certain adulterated/non-traditional beverages.

That last one can include things like "Sunny D" (vile stuff, probably popular just because it's very low in price), and certain types of fake lemonade, in particular Minute-Maid brand.

However, the vast majority of fruit juices will NOT contain HFCS.

Regarding barbeque sauce and ketchup, there should nearly always be an option at any supermarket that does NOT contain HFCS. Certain proprietary sauces, such as McD's "Sweet & Sour," will contain HFCS but others, such as Wendy's Barbeque sauce, will not.

A lot of "ultra-processed" snacks used to contain HFCS years ago, but they no longer do. Though, some might still have it.

Actually, if you simply don't drink soda and make other alternative choices, it's extremely easy to avoid 99%+ of HFCS these days.

Before I gave up soda for good, my experience with HFCS was NOT good.

I remember that if I drank about a liter of soda, Fanta I think it was, the result is that within the hour, maybe even sooner, I feel an overwhelming urge to nap and I just feel groggy and NOT good. And in general, HFCS beyond trace amounts just makes me feel very bad.

Not saying sugar is the best thing either, but I never had that kind of reaction to regular sugar.

In addition, the soda just seemed to have a bloating effect and a water retaining effect, which actually caused me to eat LESS, not more. For someone who'd like to gain weight, this is not good.

I feel like that kind of quantity of HFCS consumption is pretty much guaranteed diabetes, and you absolutely do NOT want that.

If that isn't enough, HFCS is about 3 calories a gram v. sugar's 4 calories a gram.

But yeah, don't get me started on the Big Corn Lobby.

I'm not saying one has to eliminate HFCS consumption entirely. You probably don't eat out all the time, so there's not a lot of point in fussing over whether the ketchup at some diner, or if the ketchup used at some burger joint has HFCS in it. You could probably even have the occasional can of soda from time to time.

But a 2L every day? That's just asking for trouble. Another member here ended up pre-diabetic and well on the way to becoming full-blown diabetic because she was doing that, and she was also under the age of 21 too. So, this process didn't even take a very long time.

The only way she found out is that as a trans-female on HRT, checking the blood work fairly regularly is part of the process. Most folks probably don't get that checked regularly.

Am I on a crusade against HFCS? I guess I am. There's a reason a number of countries have moved to ban the ingredient, or at least highly restrict it, particularly when a far less vile alternative, sugar, exists.

Sure, some may say they don't care about health, but some things really are no joke, and the reality is often very different from fantasy.

Fast food tier list

Interesting idea, but what's the criteria? Taste regardless of cost?

Value for money? Bit subjective of course.

Consistency? Franchises can be terrible at consistency.

Or just whichever each user who replies think or feels is best or worst overall? Maybe even if you haven't thought too much about each of the different aspects.

Is there even a proper definition of fast food? There's places that many might not think of as "traditional fast food" but is nevertheless pretty fast anyway; Panera's and Schlotzky's comes to mind. Having a drive-through line wouldn't necessarily qualify either; don't know if I've ever seen a Domino's with a drive-through line. Pizza Hut locations may or may not have one.

Maybe let's expand it to any chain restaurant that doesn't have wait staff - order and pickup at the counter, may or may not have a drive-through line.

Ideas for fantasy feeder feedee content - need your feedback

Realistically, for most folks?

10,000 calories seems like it's way too much, and not reasonable for most. For some? Sure.

It's not clear if this is a one time, occasional, or even once a week for a stuffing, or if this is intended be every day. So which is it?

Is this anything like those "cheat day" videos I see on YouTube sometimes? Though most authors/creators who do this, tend to be extremely fit and seem to almost live at the gym. But I've sometimes seen them do 10K or even 15K calories before, but certainly not every day.

If every day back to back, I'm convinced is impossible and would probably make you sick and unwell.

There are those competitive eaters you hear about, but they trained up to it. They also don't eat like that every day and will generally prepare for a couple or few days before the moment of truth.

Personally, I have had 4,000 calorie days several days in a row before, think 5 days. Doing that 2 days in a row is probably not that hard unless you're still quite small and very early on in your gaining journey.

I don't think I could do 10,000 calories in a single day, I don't think. There was one time I did 6,000 calories, but that involved drinking an entire quart of heavy cream, and I didn't feel that great the following day. Granted, that was about 40-45 lbs ago, but still.

True every day life is unlikely to be feasible, since folks have things like jobs to go to.

Maybe it'd be easier to do a 10K calorie day no more than once or twice a month, or at most, once a week.

The OP also mentions something about tracking progress, which suggests this isn't a one off thing.

So to recap, a one-time thing or every day?

Notifications options

If I understand your question, it's about whether you'll see the count increment over the bell icon over the top of the page, and that list of events when you click on it.

If that's the case, then I'm sorry, but presently there's no way to disable this.

If you're asking about desktop notifications via the browser, FF doesn't do or use this.

If you're asking about whether you receive e-mails upon certain events, there's only three events where you can get e-mails, and the first two are disabled by default:

1) When someone sends you a PM. However, the e-mail will only contain the screen name of the user who sent it - you would still have to login to the web site to read it.

2) When someone replies to a post or thread you wrote. However, it only appears to trigger on the first reply (if you wrote the thread), or on the first post immediately after a post you wrote in reply to a thread.

3) If you request a password reset. These e-mails can't be disabled, but in theory these shouldn't happen that often to begin with - only if you forget the password to your user account.

How much do you care about your own health ?

Munchies:
I remember he had to have an MRI for an unrelated health issue and barely fit into the tube. Scared the shit out of him. He said that he never wants to be too fat for healthcare.

Personally, I think that's a really good thing to keep in mind. Once you reach a certain side, the medical world isn't built with you in mind. I don't think a lot of feedists think about that.

You're exactly right.

A few years ago, I remember hearing about a horrifying, relevant situation, which I believe took place around Cleveland, OH.

I would guess some users might get a thrill out of this story, but that is absolutely not the intent of it. If anything, a cautionary tale.

So, there was this woman, who weighed something like 650, 700+ lbs. She really needed an MRI scan. But.. problem!

None of the machines at the hospital were large enough to accommodate her.

The Cleveland Zoo had an MRI machine in the veterinarian's office that would be big enough. But, it wasn't licensed and certified for use on humans, and maybe this really shows ignorance, but I'm pretty sure that licensing process can't be completed in 1 day or a few hours as a rush job, nor do I know what's involved in the licensing process.

I have no idea what the outcome of that was, but even without knowing this, this is already a severe complication and a scary situation.

I wish I could find this chart again, but 600+ lbs does solidly place you well above 0.5% on the distribution curve (this means 99.5% of individuals weigh less/have a lower BMI than you do).

Of course, it's all about girth (and the girth of the machine) and no, I have no idea what her girth was at the widest point.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if the hospital administrators simply didn't anticipate this situation would ever arise. I don't know how old the hospital is, when the MRI machine was procured, or what was going through the minds of the administrators, or what doctors said while being consulted, prior to procurement.
