What do you think caused you to develop this kink?

I got into it on purpose in an attempt to deal with my selective eating disorder because medical interventions were not working since I still didn’t feel motivated enough to push past the disgust and nausea to eat more than a couple bites of anything at a time, even though I was actively starving to death, and I was desperate to find something that would work since I’d been threatened with institutionalization. I wasn’t that into it at first but you can get into anything if you try hard enough. It’s an unorthodox approach, but it did work. The eating disorder isn’t GONE but I was able to get to a healthy enough weight that even when I have a relapse and can’t stand food for a while it isn’t too dangerous and my doctor no longer threatens to institutionalize me since I’m no longer at risk of dying.

How recommendable would it be to take contraceptives for women to enlarge the breasts?

Munchies is right, BC won’t do much for breast growth and it can have some really nasty side effects. No matter your assigned gender, the mechanism behind breast growth is basically the same, and even after taking it for years (for unrelated medical reasons) it hasn’t caused me to have any breast growth at all.

Estradiol, the type used for HRT, WILL cause breast growth… but it’s also HRT and does all the things you’d expect HRT to do, plus side effects of its own. So if you take that as an AMAB person you’d basically be medically transitioning. It’s awesome and perfect for if you want to do that, but it’s a high price to pay for breast growth if you only want breasts and don’t actually want the full package, and almost certainly not worth it in that case.

I don’t know of any other reliable, medically tested ways to cause breast growth other than just eating enough that they naturally get bigger from fat or working out enough that they naturally get bigger from muscle. You hear anecdotal reports about various herbal supplements, but I wouldn’t trust those either for safety or for efficacy.

Thinking about gaining

If you’re really skinny, then you will probably have a sort of grace period before people comment negatively on your weight gain. I was severely underweight when I started gaining (total gain from about 90 lbs to 135 lbs over the years, although unfortunately I’m currently back down to 130 lbs due to stress), and all the comments I received about it were totally positive for the first 20 pounds, then the comments just stopped entirely for the next 20. That’s a really significant gain and I think it gives plenty of space to decide if you like the feeling of gaining enough to risk the negative reactions you’ll face later on. I say gain a small to moderate amount at first (enough that you feel like you’re getting really fat, but that you still don’t look fat to an outside observer yet) and then decide how you feel and if you want to keep going. If you do, you can, and if you don’t, you can stop there without too much of impact on your life.

It's a myth that fat people can't feel the cold!

Severely underweight people do get cold much more easily than fat or safely skinny people, so that is probably where the misconception comes from, but it’s so stupid that people really believe it. Obviously fat people can still get cold, being human and all.

Disguising voice?

Greentrees8733:
Another potential option: maybe collaborate with someone? You write, they record?

I'm also interested in natural sounding voice changers... but that's mostly for D&D smiley

Edit: if you want to record it yourself, and have a mac, garageband might work well enough. Esp. if you're down to change the gender presentation of your voice (e.g., you practice resonating your voice differently, and then use the software to change the pitch).

Mobile version might work for this too? Not sure.

Collaboration is perfect in theory, but requires finding someone who would be willing to do it, and I haven’t had luck with that in the past. I would only want to do this for free, as a gift to the community, and I wouldn’t want to directly approach a content creator about that since they understandably are trying to earn some cash most of the time and I haven’t got any to offer them. If anyone’s interested in doing it for fun and making it freely available, though, do let me know!

Garageband is worth a shot, I’ll try it out and see if I can get it to work. I’m not concerned at all about what gender it sounds like, so that might be a good solution.

Blackmail or hypnosis?

I like hypnosis a lot, but I find it hard to believe that it would even be possible in the real world to hypnotize someone to gain weight against their will. Obviously if you COULD do that then it would be unethical, but in my opinion that’s like arguing over whether it’s ethical to cast a magic spell on someone to force them to gain weight. You can’t do it either way so I’m not worried.

Being able to go into trance is a skill that takes time to master and not something that just magically happens like in a cartoon. Even then, I’ve found that hypnosis only really works for me if I put in active effort to help it work outside of trance. I have listened to a lot of it and even made custom files but if I am not actively trying hard to gain I still don’t, even if I am listening to the hypnosis. It is just a placebo effect, basically, and if you’re into it it can be a sexy placebo effect which is more effective. It can help with motivation which is huge but that only works if you want it. Also, the recordings where you can’t tell what the person is saying or it’s just noises don’t really do anything, nor does it really work if you’re unconscious, so if you wanted to hypnotize someone you’d have to use your words while they were awake… it would be pretty damn obvious you were trying to hypnotize them then.

Blackmail is super unethical unless it’s consensual and there’s a safe word. I don’t see what could be hot about it, if anything it would stress me out and kill my appetite, but when it’s fully consensual and safe I’m glad other people can have fun with it.

Are heavy cream gains reversible?

Kimllyy:
I want to quickly gain ~25 lbs over a few months just for fun, but then lose it. I was thinking the easiest way to do this would be to use heavy cream, but I’m worried about long term effects. If I gain 25 pounds with heavy cream and then lose it, will I be the same as I was before the gain?

Heavy cream or no, 10 lbs is probably a better goal if you’re hoping to be able to lose it again. Larger gains tend to stick at least partially. I’d start with 10, see if you like it enough that you’d be comfortable keeping it just in case future diets fail, and then going for the next 15 if you decide you’d be OK keeping the weight.

Why don’t more people here get dexa scans?

Probably because you do not need a DEXA scan unless you are a certain age or have unusual risk factors for osteoporosis, they’re expensive if your insurance doesn’t cover them, and there isn’t anything enjoyable about them?

I get them yearly because when I was very underweight that did a lot of damage to my bones. I can tell you firsthand your bone density scores don’t necessarily go up when your weight does. They just stop getting worse as fast as they used to if you were badly underweight before, and might plateau if you’re lucky. What makes them go up is if you do certain kinds of exercise or if you get medication to fix your bone density. Usually, the doctor doesn’t even tell you your exact numbers, just if you have osteoporosis or not, if your bone density got better or worse, and which bones are the most at risk of breaking.

Disguising voice?

I like writing weight gain hypnosis scripts and would theoretically like to record them and post videos because there isn’t enough of this sort of content out there, but I am not willing to risk someone recognizing my voice and connecting the videos to my real life.

Is there any way to convincingly disguise your voice that doesn’t also make it unpleasant to listen to?

Alternately, are there any voice synthesizers out there that don’t sound awful with spoken word and are fairly easy to use for a beginner?

Any tips for thc gaining

Grayhair1001:
For edibles, what's a good dose for enabling the munchies? The packaging suggested 5mg gets a nice buzz, but I have yet to be really hungry. Also, indica, sativa, hybrid?

I usually stick with around 10mg and that gets me very high for a significant period of time and increases appetite a lot, but it’s different for different people - for some people 10mg would be too much, for others it wouldn’t even get them noticeably high. I find any weed works for me, but indica is supposedly better for increasing appetite.

I haven’t frequently experienced ravenous hunger from edibles, the way they work on my appetite is more that they make food taste amazing even if it’s something I would usually not like very much and stop me from feeling full. I still have to make the decision to go eat despite only feeling a little hungry, but once I start eating the weed allows me to eat much more than I usually could, and knowing how good the food will taste makes me more motivated to eat.
