Just finished reading this and it sounds interesting. Ninja you say the mothers have the ability to "warp" a child's personality, exactly what do you mean? Like giving them psychological issues? You think that perhaps it's always the father that bestows upon young men their sense of masculinity? Or perhaps do men garner it more from doing activities together considered more masculine? That thought has always made me curious. I never really had the greatest relationship with either my real Dad or Stepdad but still the same, I'd say I participated and enjoyed all the normal activities guys enjoyed in their youth. However I can definitely see the need of one needing to pull away from one's mother. I love my Mom but she definitely was waaay overprotective of me even into adulthood. I suppose if one can even see it then it must be bad.

Biggjake I think Ninja nailed it. Just be confident and I'm sure you'll do fine. I don't know what everyone else thought but from looking at the number of females who claim to be feeders in the profiles area I don't buy the notion there is an intrinsic lack of FFAs. I've come across several dozen on the site. But yes confidence is key.

Seems like you have the opposite of my problem! My Mom is always on me about being too skinny. Guess it goes to show you no matter how hard you try sometimes you can't appease everyone. I would say don't let it get you down as there will always be something about your appearance that someone will feel the need to complain about.

(I have friends from Aus. We used to play L4D online all the time when I was stationed there. It would be neat to meet IRL.)

It would be fun to see Japan again someday as it is impossible to see everything in Tokyo even if you had a month just for the city alone. Ya travel is pretty awesome, but I have to finish school first. Travel to Japan is like $2500 a clip and that's not including to Australia LOL(roundtrip mind you). It was worse for me cause to travel home for leave it was all the way from Okinawa all the way to Central Connecticut (30+ hours).

2) As far as friends go I'd be surprised if they didn't. After years of always having eyes on the chubby or bigger girls out of a group, it would surprise me if they didn't realize I did. As far as family goes they sure as soon better be accepting, however I wouldn't hold my breath if they didn't (figurative and literally).

3) Mostly to find someone. Although reading the forums and the banter is kinda encouraging from time to time. It's nice to find others who feel the same as you do.
