New trailer with the final forms of the starters, other island guardians and more!
Decidueye, Rowlet's final form. It's a Grass/Ghost type (yup, lost the Flying type) with the Ghost-type Spirit Shackle move - If an opponent is hit with this move, it will be unable to switch or run.
Incineroar, Litten's final form. It's a Fire/Dark type with the Dark-type attack Darkest Lariat, which deals damage ignoring any stat changes of the target.
Primarina, Popplio's final form. It's a Water/Fairy type with the Water-type move Sparkling Aria, which heals the target of any Burn status condition.
Tapu-Lele, the second island guardian. It's a Psychic/Fairy type with the Psychic Surge ability, which activates Psychic Terrain when being sent out.
Tapu-Bulu, the third island guardian. It's a Grass/Fairy type with the Grassy Surge ability, which activates Grassy Terrain when being sent out.
Tapu-Fini, the fourth island guardian. It's a Water/Fairy type with the Misty Surge ability, which activates Misty Terrain when being sent out.
Cosmog, a mysterious and rare Psychic-type Pokemon. It's known as "the child of the stars", and when light falls on it, it absorbs it and grows.
Alolan Persian, it's a Dark type and has the abilities Fur Coat and Technician.
Lastly:
Wally is present too. We'll have to see what other trainers there are as well.

Lastly:
In the game, they are trying to create a league and the champions of the league take on the Battle Tree where trainers like Cynthia, Blue and Red are. They can be battled against and teamed with.

The Pokemon Sun/Moon demo is out!... or at least it is in Australia/New Zealand. Europe and America/etc will get theirs later today.
For North America in particular, it will go live at 07:00 PDT. Europe will be 'late morning'.
I'm enjoying what I've seen of it so far. Also the demo continues on after it shows you stuff from the real games, so don't turn it off or anything. 
You can't save the demo manually, it'll autosave after events like beating the first part of the demo. Also as previously mentioned, playing through the demo will allow you to transfer Ash-Greninja and other items to the full games when they come out.
Explore and talk to all the NPCs, there'll be extra things to do as the days go by - for a start there's a guy next to the Pokemon Center who has something planned tomorrow (Oct 19).
Update: Demo is now live in Europe and the UK.
