I would still love to hear from more folks about this great short story, so jump in! Also, if anyone else would like to have their story read for August, let me know. Otherwise we’ll have to read one of my monstrosities. FAIR WARNING!

I like when a story in almost any genre is well done to the point that it could stand on its own without being a fetish piece, but then that adds another dimension to it.

Letters And Numbers:Hats
Munchies:How does one outgrow a hat by being too fat? I've outgrown hats, but that's only due to my hair being big.

Hard work and dedication

Letters And Numbers:Part 2 of Story Club, thank you very much to Stevita for volunteering!
fantasyfeeder.com/stories/viewSaturday
A wannabe feedee wakes up suddenly fat, with his girlfriend somehow in on his desires. A day of gluttony ensues.
Battybattybattybat:I like the economy used in telling the story a lot. I feel like the emotional threads tied up by the end and the steamy moments were incredibly sweet and satisfying (the lipstick made me go AWWW out loud).
I loved the lipstick, too. The whole first chapter had me scratching my head, wondering what the heck kind of weird, wholesome story this was from an author who is not known for tropey wholesomeness like that. 2nd chapter completely redeems and redefines, and it’s funny and sad at the same time. It’s very sad, but there’s heart there. Nice one

Tentacles:
I find this idea strangely fascinating not sure why. Dunno how much storytelling potential or not there is.
Munchies:
I absolutely hate it because of how it plays into a lot of sexism and power imbalances in every single story I've read with that concept. Adding to it, there are some cultures irl with similar ideas and they do not treat their women very well. This includes cultures with thin women and fat men as well as fat women and thin men.
Letters And Numbers:
I think those would be the traps to avoid if someone was going to write a story like that, for sure.
Birds could be an interesting species to model off of, but once you start giving an animal consciousness and free will and all of that, you start running into power imbalances.
Munchies:
I am a firm believer in that you can make a good story out of anything. I think that there is a way to explore a world that has strict body expectations enmeshed with gender roles in a way that isn't supportive of such sexism.
However, I have never seen such a story like that - especially not in kink space. I've been reading feedist erotica for about a decade now - maybe more. These sorts of stories tend to be the most sexist of them all.
Imo, the only way to pull that off is to make a story about rejecting societal norms. But even that would need to be handled with great care because it runs the risk of being fatphobic or thin-shaming.
Writing is hard! Good sci-fi especially. I’m no good at it, personally. It’s hard! I hope the OP writes something good.

TubSlug:I'm going on a road trip to Yosemite and Yellowstone this summer. Does anyone have any advice for what to see with a car and without too much hiking?
Thanks

Haven’t been to Yosemite, but Yellowstone is very casual walk friendly. There’s real hiking, too, but the big attractions like Old Faithful are very accessible. It’s one of the most amazing places on earth (I’m sure Yosemite is too)! Hope you have a great time.
