I consider myself fat. I'm approximately forty pounds overweight for my height, according to the charts and I have a BMI of 31. However, I run everyday or at least five times a week, over a mile. I also do sit-up five times a week(50) and pushups three times a week (50). So I feel I'm in reasonable shape, maybe not marathon shape, but I can run a 5K and not feel like I'm "gonna die". It really is a matter of where you want to be, with mobility, "wind" etc.

I've put on around fifteen pounds as well. I have really enjoyed it, the gain, that is. I still exercise, but I love feeling the extra pounds on my belly, which has gone from 43" to 46", but is still quite firm. Just enjoy yourself.

My wife has a single (no deep rolls) belly. She wears high waist pants and jeans, but still has a single round belly. I think it is genetics that determines how your fat will lie.

Beer, eh! I prefer the micro brews, usually richer in flavor. I usually don't drink "light" beers, the way I see it, what's the point!

This is an interesting thread. I think encouragement is the most important. I know I would get huge if my wife, especially encouraged me to gain. So support is essential. I have a sedentary job already and food/money is not an issue. I am gaining but discreetly.

So true. I really enjoy sharing my stories and gaining experiences on this site. It reinforces my inner most thoughts on gaining.

I've been gaining lately too, but I have put on mostly visceral fat, leaving my belly/abdomen bulging, but firm. I would like to "jiggle" more, so I have to agree with soft lower belly fat.

She is quite stunning now. I would like to see her gain more weight.

I received a 38% rating for my belly. I'm disappointed, may have to do something about this. Fortunately the holidays are approaching.
