FF Team:
Hi Letters And Numbers,
This is just a place holder for the moment. When recategorizing our story section we had lot's of suggestions and ideas from members. One of which was to introduce Graphic Novels, with the ability to add images to stories.
So while this is something we hope to introduce soon, its not currently an active feature.
Apologies for any confusion, I will speak with hiccups to see if there's any way to temporarily remove or grey out for the time being.
Cheers,
c00kie

Ok great. It could be a really interesting feature

Hi. So there's a little check box when you make a story that indicates if it's a graphic novel or not.
I just checked it and nothing seemed to happen. What does that mean? I have illustrations for my story, which I just post in my pics section, but I would love to put them in-line if possible.
Is that possible?

There are a few things that I think the FF story interface does REALLY well - the ability to edit chapters easily, ability to insert chapters, deleting stories at the top of the list.
There are other formatting issues that could added though, which would be amazing.
1) simple formatting like italics, bold, l/c/r justification
2) font size and color
3) maybe some bbcode functionality like /quote?
This is probably not going to happen, but removing the minimum chapter size would be good. But it’s probably an anti spam thing.
Also, on mobile the cover picture of the story covers up the name of the story.
And it would be great to be able to use capital letters in story titles!
Thanks.

I would like the ability to turn the “Dating” section off. Once you put anything in there you can’t delete it. I’m not looking to have dating information public.

Chef Feeder:
Is anyone else having this issue? Everytime I go to make some changes to my story, I find that that the title has been deleted except for the first word, making me have to rewrite the title whenever I make changes.
That happened to me, too, then it stopped.
Maybe it was because I kept trying to have proper capitalization in the title and it didn’t like that. It likes all lowercase.
Side note, is that something that can be fixed?

So this would be similar to Needful Things, right?
Pleonectic Indulgences
boom, done
Chef Feeder:
You know, I thought I'd read everything but my mind is drawing a complete blank. Where can I find this "Needful Things?"
It’s a Stephen King book. Not S tier but a solid A, I’d say. One of the good ones.

Agreed. There’s something for everyone but that’s not my thing.

My current story is first person, which I think works well enough. It’s very much a character study and I want the readers to pick up on differences or discrepancies in the things she says.
I had (accidentally) written some of the early chapters in 3rd person, and I thought that was fine too, and it would have been fine if I had kept it on the original track, but the scope changed and I prefer 1st person.

If the issue is more the obsessive/obtrusive thoughts than the actual weight issues, talk therapy is always a healthy thing to try out. It’s easier than ever to talk to someone, it can even be chat/text based. Always nice to get a little tune-up for the feelings if you can.
Outofcontrol111:
This is good. You’ve convinced me to talk to a therapist.
Cool! Just my opinion (but shared by many), but therapy is a super healthy thing that everyone can benefit from at different times. It teaches you how to talk to someone else about your feelings and you get to know yourself a little better.
It’s not something that most people are good at right away, so don’t be discouraged! It takes practice and developing comfort with your therapist. But they’re one of the few people in your life who is just there for you (that’s what you pay them for!)
So I don’t think wanting to gain weight or lose weight or watch other people gain weight or any of that is bad! I think it’s wonderful. But obsessive or intrusive thoughts can be very distracting and disruptive, and sometimes disturbing. If those kinds of thoughts are bothering you, I hope you’re able to learn techniques to make them easier to manage. And you might find you still want to be big, which would be fun, or not, which would be fun. Good luck
