Actually there are some really good (non-feedist unfortunately) Korean films, e.g. Oldboy (the original of course, not the crappy Hollywood remake), Mother, and The Host (again, the Korean movie--the Hollywood one is unrelated and mediocre).

Good tips! I have done that thing of contacting people directly and getting them to come, but haven't had much luck getting the others to do that.

I don't think anyone has addressed the OP's post--the problem is not his gf's feelings about her weight gain; the problem is she thinks there's something wrong with HIM for liking it.
OP: I don't really have an answer, except that you might show her the on-line wg and fat-admiration sites and show her that your preferences are quite common.
