Kitsune:
I doubt anyone forgot how internalized fataphobia is in human society for centuries. It's more like why is it so trendy in the algorithm on social media platforms plus on YouTube these days?
It's like the Gamergate Campaign of the early 2010's when it was trendy for terminally online guys to hate feminists and gamer girls. I still remember that so-called word "Feminazi." There was even internalized misogyny with the "better than other girls" mentality which years later aged like spoiled milk.
Algorithms and social media platforms have changed the way people think, unfortunately. Red Pill content on YouTube for an example attracts the Gen-Z crowd. (which is my generation) I assure my brother born in 2007 watches that crap since he's constantly worried about the future.
Maybe the anti-fat content will die down someday and people will move on to the next new thing to detest on. Not to say that is any better, just a sad part of life. You are right though fat-hate in general isn't anything new. It's just mentally draining to see it in your own online space. It's those few reasons why I am trying to quit Reddit cold turkey.
I think that this is well said! It seems like thanks to more far-right and “red pill” stuff, it really seems to make going onto the internet a place to get anxiety to a point where my brain explode out of my ass. Especially on YouTube hoping that nothing harmful shows up on my algorithm, if not for the content then what people will say in the comments section.
Funny thing is that even before the BoPo/FA movement first peaked I still remember people posting their distaste/dislike comments on fat people, but I mostly saw it in more fetish content (understandably). But I have never thought that it would get to a point where we are now. It’s quite something… I’m disappointed for sure, but also not surprised at the same time.
I mean here’s hoping that things will die down and people could move on and leave plus size positivity alone. But it’s looking a bit bleak right now, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t stop believing in the positive.

I've noticed it's gotten worse recently. I've assumed it has something to do with the algorithms but I think that fatphobia has always existed just below the surface. It's people making a final play to hold onto their superiority imo.
Jumhum:
I fear that it's because of American conservatives. Those fuckers wanna ruin everything lol.
I think I mentioned something like that in a way earlier post on this topic. I have noticed that the more conservative sides have a big no no for the FA/BP moments compared with Liberal sides or Moderate ones.

Oh yes this is definitely a real turn on for me! I mean hey I like to touch the belly button of a BBW like the next fella who does. But being able to reach around from the behind while almost struggling to reach it is quite hottt.
As well as other things too. But this is the one for my case. Especially speaking from my personal experiences.

Also in my experience it seems straight ffa’s are more into already fat guys as opposed to ones who are skinny or want to become fat, i could stand corrected on this but it seems to be the general consensus
Munchies:
There are a good chunk of FFAs who prefer a "blank slate" so to speak. A thin man that they can fatten as much as they'd like. And then there are FFAs like me that don't care about the start weight.
MottiF:
I wish I could meet ffa in person 🥺
Munchies:
Question. Why do you keep necroposting? This is something you've been doing a lot lately. You'll go on these posting binges where you'll reply to really old threads. This one is a year old, but I've seen you go even older.
What's up with that?
It sounds like this fellow must be quite a fan of you! Unless of course he’s trying to outrank you in the top posters. Perhaps a bragging right?

I think people share too much about themselves and their fetishes online.
Doing videos because they desire attention or validation.
I never felt I needed validation from strangers to do anything in my life.
I think perhaps the BP movement has a subset of people that push too hard to make us all look like weirdos.
Social media is not always a good place to aire your laundry.
Arame:
Now, this I can agree with as well. Everything doesn’t have to be public or mainstream. What you like doing in the bedroom ain’t nobody else’s business except you and the person you’re in bed with. Or communities like this where people can find their other half but that’s it. Stop posting everything on line all the time
Munchies:
Too many people forget that the internet isn't a personal journal with just you and your close, personal friends. Lotta people have had their lives ruined because of stupid stuff they posted online.
Yes this is definitely true as I am a small time content creator. Something that I will have to be careful about with what I post. But I try my best to think that I am far better and smarter than others who have ruined their lives by over sharing stupid stuff.
Some things are meant to be kept private. Especially when it comes to the people in your life.

Did I forget to mention that Big Pun and Heavy D literally died from being obese and yet to this day are praised for their music but again Lizzo was bullied into a weight loss journey? So she was promoting obesity but they weren’t? When they literally died from being obese??? Smh it’s infuriating
JN_TumLover56:
Interesting take on this topic, very valid points. But with Lizzo’s case her reputation has already been skewed by the allegations of her body shaming her own backup dancers, then with the weight loss then people got bad because of the somewhat hypocrisy.
I have also seen a similar story with Adele when she lost the weight even with being a voice towards being a positive influence for being more curvier at the time.
And I can see why because they try to preach about embracing imperfections and saying to not worry about changing to be skinny to met societal standards… and then when they lose the weight; that’s when people be like “WTF I thought you were confident?”. It seems like it’s a lot more tricky when it comes to balancing being an inspiration to plus size people and not getting carried away from negating your wellbeing. A little something that Olivasworld95 talked about from her weight loss video.
Munchies:
Actually, Lizzo's body shaming pre-dates her getting outed for being gross. There's intersections of marginalizations that make some people's fatness more valid than others.
Hmm… interesting. 🤔

I do support the BP movement and learning how to love yourself no matter how large or small you are.
It’s good to hear that you support it. And thank you.

Is there such a thing for eating certain foods that lower metabolism or testosterone? Or is that just plain old weight loss advertising crap?

This is an interesting topic because I have heard about stuff like this where people have gotten married to a “robot” or a human sized doll. Also if I remember correctly didn’t Whitney Cummins made a robotic replica of herself?
Still it’s interesting to see how they would develop down the line. Especially when it’s an option for people who had been struggling with finding a mate for a long time. Also because of the site we’re on… just imagine what would it be like to create a BBW or BHM sexbot with any features that we like! Then we would have to worry about them changing or losing weight ever again! 😅
All jokes aside, I think that for the long run we humans are social creatures that crave that human connection. I am open for sexbots for some people who need it, and got lots of money… but there’s also gonna be that crowd who will think that those people are sad or delusional. Of course time and time again people are going to hate what they don’t understand.
