Walking

NoMoYoYo:
I went for a walk today for the first time in months. Now I'm sore in my lower back. I knew at 270lbs, it would be a task.

I am just under 5,000 steps for the day and will probably end up around 6,000. I've taken more steps recently, but today I did a big chunk at once - about half an hour (to pick up my son from school).

I plan on continuing this and eventually rampimg it up to hopefully 10,000.

But in the meantime, how should I approach this? I'd like to do that walk every day. Should I try it again tomorrow or skip a day to heal?

Munchies:
It might be your form. It's common for belly heavy people to have a swayback postur

NoMoYoYo:
That could very well be the problem. My belly is pretty big. Is there a way to remedy this or will it come with more walking?

Work on your posture and strengthen your core, back, and hip muscles.

FYI I am on risperidone at a dosage of 0.5mgX2 and I absolutely love it because of one side effect and it's a knockout medication for people who don't get much sleep I would have you using it for weight gain aid

Do not use prescription medications as weight gain aides.

It's one thing if you are on a medication and you happen to gain weight while you are on it. That's fine and dandy. You do you boo.

But do not try to take medications in the hopes that you'll get fat. Not only is that dangerous, but you might be better served with a medication that doesn't make you fat.

Or, you could be one of those who do well on the medication and don't gain weight. And at which point ... would you stop taking that medication to get on something that makes you fat?

Necroposting question

52Percent:
If you’re saying that you’re not perfect then why do you seem so untouchable? Just a thought though.

Munchies:
What I want to know is what have I done that requires me to be touched?

52Percent:
Clearly you don’t get what I’m saying.

What I am trying to say that why do you say that you’re not perfect while you often times come off as someone who is perfect and does whatever it takes to come on top of the discussion?

Easy answer for you there.

I only post when I know what I'm talking about. If I don't, I don't post.

So, if I am arguing with someone about something, it's because there happens to be a right answer, and the other person is wrong. If they were right, I'd post supporting what they say. And I always do that - even if I do not like that person. When you are right, you are right.

Now, with that said, this post is about why people necropost. You are welcome to add your theories or even reasons why you necropost. This is not a Munchies appreciation post. If you wanna talk about why I'm so amazing, you can make a separate post.

Munchies:
It's so funny how many people are butt hurt about it. I made it very clear that this was not a call-out post. I never said people who necropost are bad and need to be flogged for their crimes.

I just wanted to know why they do what they do. That's it.

But, when some people think about me, they see me like this:

Which is fine. It's not an accurate depiction of who I am, but there are worse things to be accused of.

Yeah, it's not intuitive at all. I only know this because someone who's been on the site for ages helped me out.

BBQSilver:
When I go to their profile it just shows the Follow button, and if I click it I get the "you're already following this member" error. Is it bugged?

The unfollow button is in a weird spot. To access it, you have to click the house icon at the top of the page. Once you are there, you will see everyone you're subscribed to.

There is an edit button. Click on that, and you can unfollow people.

I've commented on older posts. Not shmure whybit woykd be bad to comment on one. Honestly this whole non issue seems to be brought about by someone who likes to feel important and raise awareness where none is needed

It's giving "I'm mad because Munchies keeps telling people not to do what I do."

Also, were you sober when you typed that? I know I'm shit at spelling, but you are usually pretty good about that.
