You should talk to your girlfriend about this. It’s possible she is just saying that to make you happy, which would not be good, but it’s also possible that she really found the idea appealing - or even that she has felt this way for a long time but was afraid that you’d be against her gaining and so never brought it up until she found out that you were also into it. I know I would never want to bring up feedism in a relationship unless I knew my partner was also interested, because it isn’t that vital to me in a relationship and I could always just gain without my partner’s help if I wanted to. Ultimately she can make her own decisions and it isn’t your fault if she makes one she regrets, just don’t coerce her into doing anything and make sure she knows you will love her no matter what her body is like.
Personally, I got into this as a teenager, but it wasn’t really a natural thing. I was struggling badly with an eating disorder (not body image related, more related to extreme pickiness and distaste for food and eating in general) and at risk of being hospitalized for extreme weight loss, and I was desperate to try anything to avoid that. No “healthy weight gain” tips did anything to help me because they all just recommended a bunch of foods I couldn’t stomach, so I got into feedism. At first I had to force myself but I got into it for real eventually. Thanks to a combination of feedism and years of medical help (therapy, appetite stimulants, etc), I’ve managed to reach a healthy weight, but I do still want to continue growing.

I have tried Periactin and Megestrol, both prescribed by my doctor. You should talk to your doctor about any medicine you’re going to take because it can have health effects other than the intended ones.
Periactin was great at first but I quickly built up a tolerance to it and then it didn’t work. Worse, it started making me very fatigued when it originally hadn’t.
Megestrol is a powerful appetite stimulant without much in the way of immediate side effects, but the potential long term side effects of it were not worth it to me so I had to stop taking it, too.
If it’s legal where you live or you can get it prescribed medically, weed works better than either one and if I were to guess I’d say it is probably safer long-term than the Megestrol, but less safe long-term than the Periactin.

Brisket and similar barbecue foods are often served room temperature at restaurants, and they taste good enough that way.

I struggle with this a lot too. Ultimately you just have to be patient with yourself and try different strategies until you find one that works.
The things I’ve found success with to gain are trying different foods until I find ones I like enough to gorge on, cooking my own food, appetite stimulants (ONLY use these if your doctor prescribes them. I’ve found most doctors will prescribe them if your appetite is severely low, you’re not fat yet, and there’s no major contraindications), and heavy cream.
Heavy cream is by far the best of these if you have a truly awful appetite. Don’t have it at the beginning of the day, or it will make the problem worse. Instead, eat as much as you can during the day, and then chug as much cream as you can manage without gastrointestinal distress before bed. The first couple times you try this it makes it impossible to sleep, but you get used to it quickly and can sleep fine after that. Even with relatively small amounts of cream, a single cup each night on average, I saw dramatic results when I used it. Furthermore, in my experience cream weight sticks well even when you return to a normal diet.
Eating fast is supposed to help if you’re able to do it, because you can get more down before realizing you are full. Unfortunately, I’m really bad at eating fast because I always either get distracted or get sick, but maybe you will have better luck.

Curious on how fast the weight comes vs the amount you drink and eat. I broke my foot, it's my birthday this month thinking this could be an interesting experiment I have to stay off my foot for 6-8 weeks other than rehabilitation add in birthday celebrations. Cream for a month?

Ahh no way i just fractured my ankle last month falling out of a palm tree at work. My b-days on the sixth and I still have 4 more weeks off my ankle. I just started hc but the shitty part is trying to hide it all from my gf. She isnt a huge fan of me stuffing my face during recovery
If you want to use cream to gain covertly, the best thing to do is to get into cooking. A lot of recipes call for cream. Assuming your girlfriend doesn’t want to gain weight and that you share food, the best way to do this is to start making recipes that only call for a very small amount of cream. That way, you have an excuse to keep the house stocked with cream, but her diet isn’t sabotaged and you aren’t wasting expensive cream on someone who doesn’t want it. Alternately, if you don’t share food, you can cook more cream-intensive recipes for yourself, which you may find more enjoyable than drinking it anyway.
Then, you can drink the rest of it! If you can tolerate drinking it straight, it looks just like milk in a glass. If it’s too gross for you on its own, you can mix it with things like coffee, tea, or chocolate milk. Chocolate milk is a personal favorite, I find it masks the taste relatively well and still looks like normal chocolate milk at a glance with a 50/50 combo if it’s mixed well.
For what it’s worth, some people swear by coffee with heavy cream in it as a weight LOSS tool - they use it to kill their appetite. If she’s really nagging you about your gain, you can claim you’re using the cream to try and lose weight. Just be sure to use more cream than those recipes usually call for and still push yourself to eat at least a normal amount throughout the day, so you can gain.

Since gaining some weight, it’s been a real shock to me how badly designed pants are for anyone with any belly at all. I used to be rail thin and now I am near the middle of the “healthy” BMI range, so I’m not even fat yet, but I do have a small pot belly I didn’t have before. Now, even pants that fit comfortably or loosely when I’m standing up cut into my belly uncomfortably when I sit down. At first, it was hot, but it’s quickly gotten old. Are there any types of pants that don’t do this?
So far I’ve found sweatpants are the most comfortable, but even those cut in, just to a lesser degree. The pants are so uncomfortable that it’s discouraging to me, I want to keep gaining and I’ve loved everything else about my new weight, but I am worried this problem will only get worse if I gain more. I’ll probably keep gaining anyway, but I would enjoy it a lot more if I had comfortable pants.

I have some on my inner thighs but nowhere else so far. They come in slowly and itch while they're coming in, and the texture stays different from surrounding skin even once they stop itching.

Good news and bad news:
The bad news is my gastrointestinal trouble did not go away and kept getting worse even with tiny amounts of cream so I had to stop. Even now after a few days of no cream I remain sick. Although the cream probably contributed, I think this is mostly one of my preexisting health issues flaring up and I just need to wait for it to stop before I try any more cream.
The good news is that I’ve been gaining anyway! I stepped on the scale for the first time this week and found that despite no cream, inconsistent meals, and constant stomach upset, I’m somehow up to 134 pounds - within 1 lb of my previous highest weight. This has got to be the famous delayed cream effect. Weirdly, I don’t FEEL much fatter this time like I usually do when I gain, so it really blindsided me.

Just a word of warning: even though it may or may not be federally legal, it’s probably illegal under state law. We prosecute based on THC levels in my state.
If your state prosecutes based on THC levels, Delta 8 is probably legal there unless there is a separate law about it. It’s a different compound than THC but with similar effects. It naturally occurs in small enough amounts in weed and hemp that it isn’t a major contributor to the high from weed but it can be extracted to be sold by itself at higher concentrations.
There IS a relevant word of warning to be had about it, though: because it is new and poorly regulated, we don’t really know how safe Delta 8 is, and there’s always the risk of contamination from the manufacturing process. If you are somewhere where it is legal, regular weed is safer because it is just the plant and hasn’t been through poorly regulated industrial processes. I haven’t heard of any deaths or long term complications from Delta 8, so it is probably not TOO unsafe, but I’d still be inclined to avoid it until it has been around longer and its safety is more certain.

I’m not quite fat yet, but I used to be so thin that I had a bikini bridge and have gained a significant amount of weight over the years. At my lowest adult weight I was around 90 pounds, now I am 132. Since I was so thin before and have never been athletic, I look chubbier than one would expect of someone with my BMI, pretty much all the weight I have gained has been fat.
