Family questions about weight gain?

My mom noticed my growing belly yesterday during the tail end of my holiday visit. I had raised my shirt briefly to pull up my belt since I wear pants a bit large for comfort's sake. She said, "Yeah, I remember when you once said you'd never get a big belly. Well, you have one now!" Mind you, she's always been a health nut and even my bowling ball of a belly makes me fat in her eyes. She loves my 312-pound fiancé quite well, though, and seems to appreciate our love isn't based on conforming to some standard of physical beauty. It's based on love and cooperation :-)

My lady's latest weigh-in...

My fiancé weighed in at 312 at the doctor's this past week smiley Happy on many levels -- that she's still confident about her size but also that her actual waist actually shrunk to fit two pairs of 26-28 jeans she hadn't gotten into for a while. She wondered if she lost weight, but I think somehow her double belly stayed the same while her waist underneath shrunk. Either way, we're having a fat and happy holiday :-)

"most fetishists are male"

We'd have to define fetishism further to come up with pure results. I'd say the vast majority of the membership here is male, only because men truly love womanly hips, full breasts, and varying degrees of belly girth. My fiancé is a proud inheritor of the fat gene. Heavy since puberty and about 330 now. Confidence, in her case, is very sexy smiley I'm just trying to maintain something of a belly for her to play with as I play with hers smiley

The negatives of being fat.

flyinghorse:
That's really sad that you don't seem to be enjoying it anymore.

Are you happy to stay at the same size or do you plan to lose a little?

SsbbwTav:
I never gained intentionally so I was not gaining pleasure in the first place. However, I have come to accept this weight and live with it and sometimes even enjoy my size despite its limitations. Perhaps being involved in the FA community has helped me accept myself more and make all the necessary adjustments to my every day life. The health issues are the most troublesome, and those which sometimes make me feel more distressed emotionally, but there are always ways to work around them through lifestyle changes. I tried to lose weight with no success so I stopped trying to combat my addiction to food and somehow I have learned to embrace my big size, though it's not always easy and it should be a lifelong process.

Biggest POSITIVE of being fat is that most men prefer fat women, whatever they may say![/quote]

Indeed smiley This guy loves his short, fat sweetie!

Why are you on ff??????

I'm here to encourage and offer sweet comments to ladies who are gaining and need the cheer smiley I I've the life of an encourager every day with my fiancé, whose weight has nearly tripled in the past 20 years or so. Having two kids and the fat gene helps, but so does the love and encouragement :-)

Everything i eat will only appear as acne, not fat. does anyone else have this problem?

Just a general statement on acne and related skin problems....some of us struggle with it into middle age. The only thing that's worked for my recurring redness/rosacea on my nose and cheeks is antibiotic pills. I haven't had the chance to find a skin doctor in mine and my lady's new town, so I'm a bit redder these days than I ought to be.

Fat sex

No better sensual feeling in the world than to press my fiance's big, soft belly against mine when we make love smiley We agree soft-on-soft is best smiley

Double belly

HappyBigBoy:
Since my now-fiance has worked in her current job, she's worn elastic pants at about mid-belly and it's actually helped maintain her double belly. She considers where she wears them to be her natural waist if not for all the extra bulge. Course, she wouldn't be as sexy without the double belly, so I have no gripes at all smiley

700lbgoal:
Sounds like more proof that genetics may in fact play a small role in double bellies. smiley

(Also: congrats on your engagement!)

Thanks! smiley

Double belly

700lbgoal:
In case anyone is curious, I've actually experimented with getting my belly fat to accumulate in one place by wearing a belt around my waist or tight jeans to bed.
I did it the first time I put on 100lbs and the second time (after I had lost all that weight). It did in fact cause my belly fat to mostly accumulate in one place, giving someone like me who mostly gains every where but the one place I want, a beer belly look. I further experimented by wearing loose pants for a while, which caused me to grow wider instead of getting most of my belly fat to stick out (it also has made me lose my huge hips which stuck out more than normal thanks to the tight jeans/belts). It's not something that you'll see results on overnight, you have to keep it up for weeks to see a permanent change.
One can really do this with any kind of tight clothing, so even jeggings (if they became tight while gaining) worn around the belly itself could create a double belly.

I came up with this idea because my mom once remarked on how I wear pants wrong. She thinks one should wear them around the belly itself instead of the waist. Guess what kind of belly she has and which one I don't? smiley (I prefer the big potbelly/beer belly look personally).
