Half Life. It's one of many games that passed me by when it originally came out, but bought as part of the last Steam summer sale (through which I probably now have enough for the rest of the year, old games and new). I think people sort of get a bit overwhelmed by being somewhere where they're
allowed (for want of a better word) to voice those ideas that yeah, they have an unfortunate tendency to forget the entirety of the rest of human experience

I'm a classical double bass player and also enjoy writing my own stuff. Fairly recently got asked to write a score for my local am-dram theatre's production of Anne Boleyn, which was great fun and went down very well, hopefully that'll lead to more of the same so I can build up a portfolio of compositions that have actually been used. I'd like to write for computer games as well, at some point.
