Will eating 4-5k calories be enough to get me obese at 5'9? im 151 lbs rn but ive been consistently eating over 4k calories for a couple days now and plan to continue up until christmas. What do you guys think?
Well, you have a BMI of about 22 now and 30+ is obese. You would need to be 203 lbs to get to a BMI of 30 so you need to gain 52 lbs by Christmas. I think that's going to be difficult. However if you are not too active and can keep up the 4K+ every day until then, you may well go a long way towards your target. Good luck!

Plenty of heavy cream needed, I think. You should have no problem getting this if you work at Walmart.

I have to wear them over with a stretch belt otherwise they fall down. I don't like braces (suspenders) which is the only other option.
This is really the only practical problem with having a large ball belly and wish someone would invent something to cure the problem. (Don't suggest losing weight!)

Can only suggest the obvious really. Eat loads of large meals, plenty of fattening snacks and huge quantities of beer!
You can't be sure where the fat will end up but beer bellies aren't called that for nothing.

I would say give it a try. You have nothing to lose and you might find you like it a lot like most of the people on here. It sounds like you are not likely to get much criticism from friends and family at least!

I'm not far behind you Justapig.
Since buying and taking lactose pills I can manage 300ml of double cream and the same of milk, all mixed with about 100g of Nutella. I've had no unpleasantness in the loo, and my hayfever symptoms have totally gone. I'm also up 2 lbs in the last few days!
I've never thought of heavy cream as a cure for hayfever! I'm glad it's working out for you though. I'm keeping up with my 300ml most days and have noticed a new layer of fat forming everywhere. Weight up 4 Kg (9 lbs) over last 5 weeks.

What Edxl says is right. You could give yourself a hard time trying to cram down 10,000 cals in addition to your normal intake but I doubt much of it would stick and you would be on the toilet most of the time. Gaining is a long term thing. Maybe try doubling your daily intake and keep it up for a few weeks. There is no instant way to get fat.

Thanks for that, Becomingoverweight. I feel your frustration with the site but appreciate your sensible responses to this. (Incidentally I am an engineer and have completed a course on climate change from Exeter University). I like the Algal Oil idea a lot, btw.
We need a new way of measuring global success. GDP is not the way.

Yeah, algal oil's pretty awesome. Also, I had originally been majoring in mechanical engineering before I switched majors to physics. What kind of engineer are you? Also, a good measure may be the average quality of life.
I'm an electrical and electronics engineer with a degree. I have also designed and installed quite a few air source heat pump and solar water heating systems. I am trialling some new ideas in that area.
