Perks of gaining/starting gaining?

bills225:
I love how having a fat body feels. My belly hanging over my waistband. Moobs sagging when I sit. My love handles making my shirts tighter and even my fat thighs chaffing.

Also, eating what I want when I want has been so freeing these last 7 years.

This has also been my favorite part of gaining. All my cloths getting tight, jiggling when walking, rolls forming when sitting down, etc. It seems I can feel the weight before I can notice it by sight. But it's all a great motivator to keep gaining. smiley

Do you think it’s possible to find love with this fetish?

I guess it depends what you are looking for exactly. While I've had this fetish most my life, my wife wasn't into it specifically. But, I told her all about it many many years ago and she was ok with it. It started at just me telling her I liked her bigger. So she kinda just let go and gained quite a lot over the years. Then I brought up that I wanted to gain too. Which she wanted too. As I've gained she has gotten more and more into it. Now we are in a mutual gaining relationship. Even though I'm the only one gaining so I can catch up to her.

So you could find love at a site like this with someone who is already into it all and knows all about the fetish. You could find someone who doesn't know about the fetish but is already a bigger person. Or likes bigger people. There are many variables and situations. But, as you can see with how many response and people on this site and others like it, there are people out there. Best wishes!

Minimising passive calorie burning

Most likely it wouldn't be that much. The single biggest burner of calories is just existing. Hell, our brains use upwards of 20% of our daily calories. Of course, every movement does burn calories. But, the amount is tiny. When someone can run a mile and barely burn off a single soda. Most other stuff isn't gonna be enough. Keep getting over the average 2000-2500 calories we need each day. The higher the better, mostly. Hope that helps a little smiley

Gainers do you like weight goals or is gaining a side effect to your feeding?

I'm on a goals oriented path. While I do enjoy food. I would never gain anything if food was the focus. Before gaining I normally ate very little. Alwaya being on the skinny side of things. For me to gain what I have I really really had to work at it. Food is just a means to an end.
My wife and I have a mutual gaining relationship. Although she is way ahead of me. She is at about 300lbs and we are wanting the same for me. So that's basically our long term goal. But I also have short term ones. I had one at 190 which was the highest weight I have ever been. The next goal is 200. Then after that I guess I'll see how it goes. smiley best wishes to all!

Dying young from morbid obesity

I deal with the exact opposite. My wife is pretty big, about 300lbs and while I'm only about 195ish now. We are trying for me to be about the same. But, we both worry about health in general. I have a chronic illness that has resulted in being disabled. So, while we love gaining and being on the bigger side.we are also always making sure our health is ok. Its also why 300lbs is basically our size limit. I just find it interesting how people can have similar interests, in this case weight gain. But have almost opposite views on it at the same time . To each their own though. smiley

Ct/ri/ma feedees and feeders?

Every time I see this post I figure I will keep commenting. To stay active and such. I'm from CT, living in MA on the Cape. So I am often traveling between the two. Which makes pretty much every state in NE close enough except maybe Maine and northern VT and NH. Maybe there is a way we can figure out a central spot to everyone commenting here and have a meet up?

Gaining with the help of your own hormones and supplements

safwh:
My understanding of this stuff is that a lot of the weight related health problems are due to excess visceral, not subcutaneous fat. And avoiding insulin resistance is key to minimizing visceral fat gain. I’ve seen exercise, intermittent fasting, and avoiding high glycemic carbs as ways to lower insulin. Along with metformin and pioglitazone. Is there any way to promote subcutaneous fat gain rather than just minimizing visceral? I’ve heard sumo wrestlers have lots of subcutaneous fat due to high levels of physical activity then once they stop working out they start to get the obesity health problems. Not sure how true this is though. Have also seen research pointing to pioglitazone as possibly promoting creation of new fat cells through up regulating ppar-y gamma which has something to do with lipogenesis

User BecomingOverweight has many posts on this forum about the differences of Viseceral and Subcutaneous fat. I believe dairy had something in it that helped reduce visceral fat. Do a search for him and his research should be easy to find. Best of luck!

Can food i eat dictate where i put on fat?

The only info I have heard about that kind of relates to this is high sugar and carbs tend to cause more visceral fat gain. Which is the so-called bad fat that can lead to health issues. It's the kind that causes the tight beer belly look.
Then there is subcutaneous fat. Which is the kind right below the skin. The soft jiggly kind. It doesn't contribute to health issues as much as the other kind of fat. Eating and drinking fats, like in dairy is supposed to help with subcutaneous fat and reduce visceral.
I would think subcutaneous fat would be what you would want. As the areas you want to gain in would seem to be areas where subcutaneous fat would be stored. Having said all that, at the end of the day your genetics has the final say in where you gain. Best of luck!

The dream…

Quinten1:
my ultimate dream is to get so fat.. eat and then get fat.. that people stuff me and push me more over my limit every day….
and that I get so fat that I can only lie down and eat.. but unfortunately I have no one around me who wants to do that with me and with me!! and it remains a dream

I'd say the vast majority of people here have that same dream. Whether for themselves or for someone they care for. Many take it into their own hands and try gaining themselves. The only one who can control whether your dream comes true or not is yourself.

Re-gaining with heavy cream

I'm doing exactly this right now. I had a few months of gaining about a year ago. I used heavy cream since I'm normally on the skinny side and it is very difficult for me to gain to begin with. I gained about 30-35lbs before I plateaued. From about 150ish to 180-185ish lbs. Then I couldn't seem to get passed that no matter got hard I tried.

I took a break of a few months. I did drop about 10 or so lbs at first. But then realized recently I gained back up to about 180ish without even trying. So I am now trying to gain again. Heavy cream being my go to for getting a surplus of calories everyday. It's only been going on 2 weeks and already I can notice and feel gained. With the scale creeping up to 190. I think stopping from time to time helps with gaining. At least for me. It let's the body get used to the higher weight and then be ready to gain more. I guess we shall see. But, I for sure can tell it's working quite well. Best of luck to everyone else too!
