I mean, there's mygirlfund and gofundme. You can ask for donations for practically anything on those sites. People make blogs all the time on tumblr with donate buttons so it's not like this is an exceptionally novel idea.
The thing Kickstarter does that these others don't (I think) is no one has to donate until enough people have pledged the money. So if you needed $500 to gain 12 pounds you would either raise that much money and do it...or not.

What if there was a feedist version of kickstarter, that would allow people to finance their gain if enough money was donated?
Would anyone here (besides me (I'd be a donor)) participate?

I had a gf who lost weight. It was definitely a buzz kill while she was losing, but when she hit her target weight* and stayed there for awhile I eventually adjusted.
Not sure if the same will happen with your bf, but there's a good chance. If you care about each other, hang in there!
* She was still chubby there, just not as much as before. If she had actually gotten THIN I may have had a problem!

looks like it handles it fairly well (in a 'it's just their thing' kind of way).
Yes. It's a little off on a few details, but it's better than nothing!

I think h is chubby and the only really fat one is j.
Currently I'm maybe around a g. So close to the threshold.
Going for j?
More like a p, but j is a good shorter term goal
P??? Sure about that? This would be p:

It depends on a lot of things besides size, but I reckon the main criterion is : how much she can gain and still do her job?
Then the question is, what's her job? If she's a ballerina, the answer is maybe two pounds. If she does phone support or she's a circus fat lady, it would be a lot more.

After thinking about this quite a bit, my generic advice to feedees is:
If you gain on purpose, there is a risk that you'll get bigger than you want. And you may not be able to change your mind and lose the weight.
It's only a risk, not a certainty, but
you shouldn't gain unless you're prepared to accept the risk.
And that's okay--a lot of people accept risks to do what they love. Mountain climbers, smokers, race car drivers, etc. Why not feedees?

I'd say it really just depends on what you want and what you're specifically trying to do.
That's true--only trouble is a lot of feedees don't know what they want and what they're specifically trying to do!
