The Sims comes to mind. In some of the more recent expansions you’ve been able to prefer larger body types. Involves a bit of head cannon though.
If there’s an option I like to make my characters fat in games. In the game I play the most, elder scrolls online, you can make your character quite fat. I saw in starfield you’re gonna be able to be quite large for a player character

Fit to Fat to Fit was so degrading. Like these trainers obviously wanted that dramatic shock value too. Lived it up for television by mocking their clients.
Think only a fattening game could work as an independent game. Mainstream companies won't take that on. We kind of got this with Fat Princess... 😳
The fatphobia was so strong. And then there were the trainers that, after going through all of that, just doubled down on their fatphobia. They were all "Well, if I can do it after being fat for a few months, you can lose weight you baby."
weight gain games are always a weird spot for me. I've played a number of them over the years. A lot of misogyny in most titles. But some of them were pretty good.

There's an rpg maker game I found called coven of calahree that you can get on steam, there's also a dating sim being made by tonbelly that's incomplete but there's demos available

I've been enjoying writing some stories recently, and have been thinking of other ways to create content for the community. I am a game developer by profession, and I would be interested in making a couple interactive weight gain games/ experiences.
