I get that governments would want to push an agenda that the health issues associated with being obese is why they implement measures such as the sugar tax. However, I don't think everyone who is either overweight or obese aren't aware of what they're doing to their bodies

could humans someday evolve into two separate species, one being super obese and another being slim? what sort of changes might the obese humans see?
I think we are getting towards that phase already. The super obese just continously eating into immobility with offspring being large at birth
