Sorry to hear that you were scammed by a member of the site. I have reviewed the abuse report submitted from the new account you created, WilE. The user responsible has now been blocked and permanently banned from the site.
I have also removed the WilE account. We only allow one account per user, so if you need to report a user in the future and are unable to access their profile, it would be best to contact a moderator or the FF Team account directly with the relevant details.

Hi,
For some users the upload progress bar is currently failing to display correctly. However, the video is still uploading in the background, and uploads are continuing to work as expected.
We are aware of the issue and are currently investigating it. Although the upload progress percentage is not being displayed, the video should continue uploading in the background as normal.
If you are uploading a larger video file, the process may take some time to complete. Please leave the page or browser tab open and allow the upload to continue. Once the upload has finished, you will automatically be taken to the next step, where you can select a thumbnail and publish the content for others to view on the site.

I am generous with my likes but after a recent update a like counts as a picture view. I was looking at a picture and clicked LIKE. The picture reloaded but gave me the dreaded subscription page instead.
It was not like this for a long time but now is. Similar with videos. If you like a video part way through it reloads and puts you at the beginning again.

You get a notification of who liked your content and viewed your profile. This is in the notifications section (click the bell icon at the top of the website page).
The bug that caused likes to be counted as picture views (by refreshing the page when the Like button was clicked) should now be fixed. However, please let us know if you continue to experience any issues with it.

I know I am necroposting an old thread but is there any reconsideration in furthering the block feature onto the forums UI? I know the previous mod stated that it will be tricky to implement and I don't want to put pressure onto the dev team.
On my old account I have encountered some very unkind people in the past (who still come on here) and I just don't want to see their profile pics/usernames and comments since it triggers bad memories as someone who struggles with PTSD.
Once again, I applaud the FF team for doing their best and sometimes we can't have everything in life. I just wish I could curb my viewing experience on the forums considering I mostly lurk on there in comparison to the chatrooms which I rarely use.
Hi, at the moment we are not planning to expand the block feature to the forums, it is not currently on our work list for this year. However, that’s not to say we won’t implement it in the future.
I will raise it again with Hiccupx for consideration, and I do appreciate that, as someone who mainly uses the forums, this feature would especially benefit you and improve your experience on the site.

I am just an idiot and fell for it again. Totally my fault. It just sucks this site doesn’t seem to have real people on it looking to connect with others. It’s either fake accounts or paid accounts and nobody really interested in anything but money.
I’m sorry to hear that you were scammed twice. However, there are real and genuine people on the site.
Unfortunately, you are more likely to be contacted by fake scammer female accounts because they try to contact as many people as possible before we notice and ban them.
Real users usually will not try to get you off the site straight away, and they will not ask you for money or for gifts immediately.
I would advise you to use the chat room and take your time getting to know people.

I’ve spoken with Hiccupx about this, and I believe we’ll be implementing an option for content owners to tag or mark content as AI generated.
In the pictures section AI content already has its own category. However, the stories section works slightly differently, so using a tag system would make more sense.
This will, of course, rely on uploaders being honest about their use of AI. However, having content clearly marked will allow readers to filter AI content either in or out, depending on their preferences.

Hi folks, sorry to hear you’re having issues uploading video files. I tested this on both my laptop and phone this morning and was able to successfully upload an MP4 video without any problems.
That said, I’ve flagged it with Hiccupx because with both of you experiencing the same issue, it doesn’t seem like a one off. I’m not sure yet why it’s not working for you specifically, but hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of it soon!
