Another point was that the more weight you gain, the more new fat cells are formed. If you lose weight now, is it true that with a normal diet you almost gain weight on your own if you're not careful?
What are your experiences with this?
Actually, your fat cells do not divide when you get fatter. They are more like balloons in that they blow up bigger and bigger as you gain weight but if you lose weight, they can shrink down. As to whether losing weight becomes more difficult once the fat cells are larger, I don't know about that and I would like to know the answer, too.

I read your article on Deviant art and joined the Weigh-t group. Are there more articles I can access through the group? You suggestions for promoting weight gain were very good and I hope my body will respond when I do them.

I suppose like most of you I am proud of my weight gains and my hanging belly. I didn't get fat until these last five years and suddenly I found I had to deal with clothing for my expanding middle.
Do you wear bigger pants around your belly button? (I measure 53 inches there) Or, wear my pants under my belly? (I measure 43 inches under my belly.)
I have found that wearing my pants under my belly is the most comfortable - letting my belly hang over my pants and buying shirts that are big enough to cover my belly. My shirts vary in sizes from 2XL to 3XL to 2XB sizing (you can find XB shirts at Kohl's). 2XB sizing has normal shoulder and chest sizing but more room for your belly.
The problem with 3XL for me is that the shirt tails are too long. Also, my belly in many 2XL shirts stretches the fabric out tightly on the sides of my belly. I get a nice protruding belly look with the shirts untucked and since I am not wearing my pants over my belly, my pant legs look normal instead of pant legs that are "bloused out". I don't have a big butt or legs - at least not yet.
So, how to deal with the too long shirt tails when worn untucked? I know this problem is going to get worse because I still want to put on at least another 25 pounds. I weigh 240 now. Hmm. Maybe I need to learn how to hem up shirt tails - learn how to sew? Any advice on sewing?
So, do you wear your pants around your belly button? A lot of "fashion people" say that is the best look, but I don't agree with "fashion people" on most things when it comes to big belly wear. Several "fashion people" on Quora said, "Loose weight, you big fat slob." Yeah, I don't think they really get that we LOVE our big, heavy drooping bellies and we are gonna get bigger..!

Always looking for ways to increase the hang of my love handles and belly. Skin stretching? Tight belts under my stomach fold?

orderofthegooddeath.com/death-positive-movement/End of life care is very cold, and how we treat the elderly and infirm is appalling. It's no wonder that most people want nothing to do with it.
We all want a good life, but it shouldn't be lived in fear of death. For death comes for us all.[/quote]
***** Thanks for the link to Order of the Good Death. I enjoyed the sentiments there.
I am older than most here so I might have a different perspective. The way things are set up, it is difficult to retire and I was so relieved to get past that hurdle, BUT, having accomplished that, I turned around and saw that there was this giant cliff I still had to climb and that is taking care of yourself after you retire.
The cost of Elder Care is astronomical - thousands of dollars a month and completely beyond most people's capabilities. It appears you have to sell everything you have to pay for it and get down to assets less than 2000 a month and then become a ward of the state in whatever facility they throw you into. All privacy is revoked.
So in terms of wanting longevity, I would not want that type of longevity wasting away in a bed in an elder ward. It would be nice if one could bow out medically (assisted suicide or euthanasia) when that time comes. But the health care system is very greedy and wants you to transfer all your wealth to them in the last stages of your life.
For me, even though it might be crazy, having fun and enjoying life and putting on pounds and having a friends around me who enjoy food is a good option. With continually gaining weight there is bound to be a tipping point eventually where something goes wrong and I keel over, (hopefully with a quick heart attack or stroke) but isn't that a better end than being propped up medically while they literally suck the life out of you SLOWLY and fill their pocketbooks?

I agree that drinking heavy cream straight can be hard because of the taste. I generally mix one third heavy cream with two thirds half and half. I use a tad of HC in my oatmeal, dry cereal, omelettes, and soups. It is a regular part of my daily weight gain diet but I know I am still not using enough daily because my gains are slow. I probably should be consuming at least a pint of HC throughout the day.

Opposites. I enjoy a female figure that is slender and bosomy while I definitely have a
Santa figure.

This is an interesting topic that has many levels. The recent movie "Her" with Joaquin Phoenix, the AI companion in Blade Runner 2049, the customized sex dolls of HiDoll and, from what I gather here, AI internet fantasy roleplayers are all examples "sex robots". What I think it comes down to is that each individual has certain specific fetishes that are triggers for arousal. These triggers may have come about through sexual encounters or through exposure to sexual taboos thus making them more intense. Many people hide their deepest fetishes out of shame or feelings their fetishes would not be acceptable to partners.
Enter AI and Sex Dolls/Robots. Since there isn't a human partner to embarrass, the result, I imagine, is that there is more openness and less inhibitions to reveal hidden fetishes. Perhaps this is good, but then it might also drive someone to introverted behavior and less social intercourse.
Who wouldn't want a partner who is "all in" with your specific fetishes?
As for those of us who enjoy gaining and getting fat, customized AI programs and robots could come about.
One of the problems I see is that interacting with another human being about fetishes is exciting! But one does feel vulnerable and it can be devastating to be rejected because of a fetish. I could see that as a driver to invent custom robots.
We don't want to be "cured" of our fetishes. We want to enjoy them and find people of like mind - though, even if they might not be "exactly" of like mind, it could be close enough for a fun relationship.

I do. As I gain weight the little things like giving up socks, wearing shoes with laces, having a harder time clipping my toenails, not being able to bend down to wash my ankles and feet in the shower, having a harder time standing up when crouching on the floor and turning in bed are all the delightful little "pleasure problems" getting fatter brings.

With me, slow and steady weight gains is better than binging. The best that I have done so far is 12 pounds in 6 months. I need to add more daily calories..!
