Is anyone here an engineer?

Engineer here. My recommendation is that a ME degree would be much more useful and versatile than an ocean engineering degree. A ME would also help with aviation as well. I started working my first engineering job after college about a year ago, and the job market SUCKS. It's super hard to get a job, and mechanical would give you more options for jobs compared to ocean engineering.

Ocean engineering sounds nice, but my guess is that it's a niche industry and therefore there won't be as many available job compared to an engineering degree. It took me 8 months to get my FIRST interview after applying to a bunch of jobs during that time, and that's how I landed my current job.

The problem with current jobs is that they expect experience for an try level job, which makes it very difficult to start working. I also highly recommend you get at least 6 months of internship experience before graduation, because the job market is a struggle.

I hope this info helps you make a decision

Christianity and feedism

Oogabooga10:
Hey everyone! 23m nerd here. I've never done one of these before, but I'm looking to talk those who are Christian and are into feedism. Feedism is rare in itself, but being religious AND into feedism is really rare. I'm Catholic, so it would be really nice to talk to Christians who are also into this kind of thing, but other religions are fine too. I really want to make friends in the community who are also like me, because even though I sometimes interact with feedism communities, I sometimes feel lonely because almost nobody is in my situation. Feels like I'm in a niche within a niche. I'm also really into video games, manga/anime, and motorcycles too.

I'd love to hear about your opinions and thoughts about this topic too, so feel free to share! Hopefully I'm not the only who's into this kind of situation 😅

If i understand the point of your entier post, it is basically asking people if they have this experience where their fetish contradicts their conciousnes? (If thats through the christian faith, or perhaps any faith seems to be of less importance to me)

Munchies:
Nah, you gotta keep the religious element to it, or it doesn't work.

See, your conscience is a reflection of your ethics and morals. Religion takes that and adds supernatural consequences. So, even if you don't have an issue with it, your religion supersedes your personal beliefs on things. So you gotta navigate the two.

You won't get it if you aren't religious or have never been religious. And even then, different faiths or expressions of faith yield different complexities.

OP and I are both Christian, but we are very different flavors of Christian. My Protestant ass has an easier time navigating these feelings because, for my flavor of Christianity, I'm straight so long as I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.

Meanwhile, that Catholic guilt is the stuff of legends. OP grew up experiencing things that I will never fully understand because that's how the Catholic Church rolls.

And don't do your usual "people are stupid" song and dance. That won't fly in this specific situation, and if you try it, I am not protecting you from the angry people that will come your way.

When I first discovered feedism, I felt guilty about it and but I eventually reached a point where I came to accept it. I don't feel guilty about anymore, nor do I believe it's a sin or a bad thing. If you approach it ethically (what I explained about before), then I don't see a problem with it.

The purpose of my post was to discuss people's feelings/experiences on this topic. I was also curious to see if there were any Christians into feedism too.

I want my future soulmate to also be Christian but she doesn't have to be Catholic. I see the religion part as a necessisity because I want to be with someone who has the same beliefs/morals as me, but it would be amazing if she was into feedism too. Feedism isn't a requirement for me though in terms of relationships, I prioritize a person's values/beliefs/personality the most, and feedism is a nice bonus

I'm so sorry you had to experience that. I agree that not everyone or everything within a church/denomination is good. I have my own beliefs and also don't blindly follow either. You're right, there are some places that are like a cult, and thankfully I didn't experience that.

You're doing a great job by doing good out there and informing others. I find it really wholesome that you and your partner are well and that you found your own set of beliefs and made peace in terms of religion. Thank you for sharing your story.

Definitely. I think the chances of that happening were pretty high back then. I can see where you're coming from, and I'm not disagreeing with you.

You're not wrong, but in my mind it's all about moderation. I don't see a problem with something like a stuffing to be a problem, but I would prioritize a person's health. If you do too much, then your body develops conditions and such, so it's all about a balance in my point of a view. Take wine for example, you take too much and get intoxicated and throw up, but having some of fine.

I also really like the soft feedism aspect of caring/feeding someone too, and I don't think of it as a bad thing.

That's my take on feedism at least
