As you may have seen in the general forum chat is currently offline while we make some back end updates to the code.
Due to the amount of work that's required for the the chat. We are making small updates.
As this is a back end update, the UI will not have changed, and the chat leaks have not been addressed yet, but this upload is the first step to resolving this issue.
As with all updates, we test as much as possible before uploading to the site, but some bugs may remain.
If you experience anything unusual / new bugs please add the details here so we can monitor everything in one place.

Hey so today (roughly an hour or an hour and a half ago) I noticed that I can’t see the chatrooms or interact with other users in the chat window. Is the chat down by any chance? It just shows an empty screen for both tabs.

Thanks for reporting this issue. We’re aware of it, and while this message has appeared a few times over the past week, there’s nothing to worry about.
I have checked all areas of the site and this issue is not appearing today, so should not be affecting any pages of content you are trying to view.

Glad to see it’s been picked up on! However the issue is still persisting for me as of today. Same issues and situation as shown in the screenshot above.

Yeah I can’t read my messages either. It gives script warnings about a potential (buffer/stack) overflow, there’s “no space left on the device” which I find remarkable to say the least. It’s a website not an app lol.
Tap the notification page/button, your message counter will show correctly, however when you try to click messages; it will show the warnings/errors and no new messages will load (both those you send and those you received)
