Still scheming: from what I can gather for events, it’s tough, but small is best, I need to find a way it’s safe for people to come to!
Distance is tough for use because we have more ground to cover, but I bet with summer time travel coming up, we could all ponder timing 🤔

A Yam W N0 Plan:
That sign it just one of the great quirks of the eastern side of Washington, along with Thorp Fruit, the Stonehenge in Marysville, the giant Palouse worms, and the Spokane giant red wagon slide 😂
Kitsune2:
I never heard of the Palouse worms and Stonehenge! Another cool thing about the East side is the Looney Tunes animator and director Chucks Jones. He was born in Spokane. If only Yakima had some animator legends. Maybe I will become one someday...
Check that stuff out! But I hope you do! 😊 sounds like a great goal.

Yes! I agree, nutty Kit Kat bar. Honestly, it was too sweet for me. I couldn't finish it and had to put in the fridge and eat it over several days.
Munchies:
Yeah, it was very rich. Normally, I wouldn't have gotten it, but my partner bought it for me with the sole purpose of watching my expression.
Some friends of his got a bar to share a few years ago, and he did not like it. So naturally, his sweet, loving partner must join in on the suffering.
Oh well. Not my money. Not that bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it again.
You are a saint for taking up the challenge. But yes, I agree, I won't be going out of my way to eat it again.

I am from the Yakima Valley, unfortunately.
A Yam W N0 Plan:
“Palm Springs of Washington” 😂 if the old sign is still up above the freeway 😂 oddly I know know of more people around this lifestyle from or live there!
Kitsune2:
The sign you are referring to isn't too far from my house. It's located on the freeway that eventually leads to the Union Gap. Not sure if that's the only location or if there are more signs.
Wow really? I feel like the only FFA here! Funny enough, I have encountered women that are possibly into fat men.
Well, at least there is a small community there! 😊 But, I live for that sign, I don’t know why it brings me so much joy 😂

I appreciate the true, and honest perspective on it.
I see, best to not charge in high hopes and expect people to “come out of the woodwork”.
Good food for thought, best to sit on the idea I feel like.

I could be trying to host an event for folks to meet in my local area.
Those who have done it/organized it, how do you all keep it small, casual, and what keeps it safe? Let me know your thoughts!
(Please be nice but informative but if its too overwhelming I’ll axe the idea)

It really would! I haven't been to one before. At the very least a casual small one!
Same! Okay, I’ll have to research and follow up with what others have done for these events, how to keep it small, casual, what works/keeps it safe.
