One time at my job my leggings suddenly developed a hole between by crotch and thigh region. Thankfully it wasn't too noticable but I was still embarrassed about it.

I myself have constantly deleted my past accounts. Mainly due to wanting to take a break from the website. There are some downright mean people wandering around here, unfortunately. The drama can also be overwhelming. Thankfully it looks like things have slowed down as of now though.
If only the block feature was actually decent instead of only being effective for profiles. What's the point of having a blacklist when you can still see those peoples' comments and they can even comment on your own thread?

I've been listening to the radio recently. I like using Radio Garden which lets you listen to stations from any location even outside of the US.
I can remember seeing a dumb YT comment questioning why do people still listen to the radio when there is YT and streaming services. Personally for me, I have gotten tired of my playlists and want to expand my music taste by listening to various songs from a station.
Not to mention I find that way less distracting instead of being unsure what song to play next.

I have often deleted my Reddit accounts. I might keep my current alt but for now I am thinking of finding an alternative. In my case it impacts my mental health with all the doomerism.

I miss the Internet forum. Discord or FB groups is a step, or a couple steps back. Forums were indexed by search engines, threaded, searchable. It made collecting large information banks much easier.
I go on a few old school forums. They are the equivalent to a quaint town while social media is like a busy and loud city full of bitter people.
On a related note I am tired of Reddit and Quora monopolizing the search results.

I miss the concept of renting VHS and DVD's. There used to be a Blockbuster near our neighborhood when I was a kid. We would occasionally rent VHS tapes until eventually the DVD player became more prioritized. My family rented DVD's from the library, Safeway, and Hollywood Video.

I don’t think you’d find many conservative reactionary types giving HAES lectures or talking about systemic anti-fat biases, but I’m sure you could find a large number of overweight/obese people who just endure bigotry in docility to their “skinny moral betters” — “I might be fat but at least I know I am and don’t believe in HAES”
That said I dont think the vast majority really care about fat people outside of people who are just blatantly racist homophobic antisemitic anti-woman already, it’s more of a punchline.
And not that I’m a right winger or anything like that but the left is just as guilty of making fat people the butt of the joke as the right.
Sadly, the latter part is true. As a left-winged person I can confirm they are not 100% perfect. I can remember encountering a thread about the Washington school system in a Seattle subreddit and someone villainized special ed kids. Not related to politics per say but I thought disabled people were as important as other minorities in progressive folks' eyes.
