I am someone who occasionally deletes my account for mental health reasons. Also I have encountered some downright mean people over the past years. My worse one being this one 40 year old Massachusetts man who is still in his elementary bully phase.

I admittedly don't think I belong on here but there's barely any fat fetish/fat acceptance communities. I deleted my Dimensions account due to an ex and now there's a paywall which I don't want to keep paying just to chat on the forums. Feabie on the other hand I have heard horror stories about it so I am definitely taking caution.

On the other hand. I have experienced guys trying to hook up with me and whenever they realized I am not interested in them they suddenly delete their accounts.

Honestly, I would be weirded out and definitely refuse. That's like asking a woman if you can touch her boobs. Sadly, there are people out there who still don't understand boundaries. Such as that Japanese YouTuber tape measure incident.

I blocked him now. I wish we could hide threads from blocked users but of course the block system is kind of lacking here imo.

I will say I have bad experiences with talking to guys on here on my old account. They often come off as desperate and are suddenly in love with you. Expecting you to date them all because they have a body type you like.

I have seen a good chunk of misogyny on here. Even I have once been called "bitchy" years ago from some dude in the chatroom. I don't blame women for wanting to stay private because of that. In matter of fact I set my gender to "other" to avoid unsolicited DM's.

There were these male gainer YouTube channels I used to watch but their videos sadly got taken down due to YT's TOS of explicit content. Guys in question are Daniel Keaton, Robert Frankton, and Dragon Gut.

My biggest (pun unintended) holy grail is a video from Robert Frankton where he attempts eating a giant cheesecake for a FFA coworker while finishing it off with a jug of milk. I wish I have downloaded it before it became lost media.

I know I am necroposting an old thread but is there any reconsideration in furthering the block feature onto the forums UI? I know the previous mod stated that it will be tricky to implement and I don't want to put pressure onto the dev team.

On my old account I have encountered some very unkind people in the past (who still come on here) and I just don't want to see their profile pics/usernames and comments since it triggers bad memories as someone who struggles with PTSD.

Once again, I applaud the FF team for doing their best and sometimes we can't have everything in life. I just wish I could curb my viewing experience on the forums considering I mostly lurk on there in comparison to the chatrooms which I rarely use.

We are talking about a website meant for teens/adults with a ton of children who aren't supposed to be on there and don't know the concept of consent. I can tell a mile away who is young when their profile is filled with sloppy fill-in memes of cartoon characters getting pissed at *insert whatever the poster hates*

I will admit I made my DA account around 10 years old and saw many things I wasn't supposed to see while unsupervised. It's even worse for kids of today when there is a lack of online spaces intended for them and they are socializing with grown ups.
