It's the same reason they blur people's genitals in porno. Ironically, though, the Japanese are very relaxed about sex - they sell openly nude magazines in convenience stores - but they are still blurred. But once this material is released outside the country, you don't need to blur it.
Know of any that are un-blurred? I would sure like to see that.

Thanks, that's pretty awesome! I've seen those before - it's the closest I've seen to seeing her bare stuffed belly - but they blurred it out! :-(
Any idea what the deal is with that? They will show giant bellied sumo wrestlers and bikini models, but not a big bulging belly or a pregnant one either as far as I know. I really wish they would film her on American TV sometime - then we might get a better look!
