in the same boat as OP. Been a feeder and encouraged all my life, but am fully on the feedee / gain train now. Been averaging about 5k calories a day along with a pint of heavy cream. I feel you on the reverse size difference, too.

Honestly, it's not as terrible as everyone says.
As long as you're in a coastal area, the sea breeze helps out a lot.
But, central areas? It can get pretty nasty. Gainesville in the summer is just muggy and horrible.
And if you have a short rain storm in the summer, it doesn't really cool anything off, it just makes everything more humid.
But, we've got beautiful beaches, so, it's kinda a mixed bag.
Just make sure that whereever you move to, you have AC. And that your car's AC works, too, or you're going to be miserable. I've had to do a few summers without AC, and you don't know how much you miss it until it's not there.
Gainesville is exactly where I am at, haha. My car's AC has been out for like two months, too. It has been awful.
I second the beach idea! That would be super fun.

Florida is awful in the summer, but I really enjoy the winter and fall here.
It can get pretty cold, down around the 20's, but I love the cold so that never bothers me.
Just be prepared to sweat, a lot, in the summer.
Also, I can vouch for the awesome city that is St. Augustine.
