Your original footage most likely is another format again, probably .avi or .mov.

WindowsMovieMaker is one of the worst apps out there. F. ex b/c it only lets you save your file to .wmv. The format on FF is .flv.

I dunno how long your clip is. But usually it's better to split up your vid to multiple parts and post them separately. Otherwise you'll deteriorate the quality too much.
