Click on the icon of two heads, which brings up a list of people on chat. Click my name and ask for a private chat.

Use the same as you use for the site itself, and you'll be in the antechamber, as it were, of chat.

DBS - on the top menu, click 'chat', then 'enter chat'. Then it'll ask you for your ID and password.
