Assuming that your description is accurate, you have described a republic, not a democracy.
And, if those representatives were the true rulers of the EU, then it would in fact be a republic....

You need to look up the word democratic in a dictionary. It clearly does not mean what you think it does.

Ypu may need to up the lactaid to 3 or 4 tabs taken before and during. Individual need for lactaid varies.
